ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Former Rochester Police Chief La’Ron Singletary claims Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren asked him to lie to city council about the death of Daniel Prude.
“Mayor Warren asked me to withhold full and truthful information from the City Council investigation into the matter of Daniel Prude,” Singletary said, in a notice of claim made public Wednesday night. “Mayor Warren asked me instead, to provide false information to support the Mayor’s public narrative concerning her knowledge of the events in the matter of Daniel Prude. I repeatedly refused to lie for Mayor Warren. Pressure to support Mayor Warren’s narrative also came from other city officials.”
Singletary filed a notice of claim against the city on December 3, which was mentioned in a Rochester Office of Public Integrity Report Tuesday that cleared some city employees of any wrongdoing in regards to Prude’s death.

“Lovely” is a NYS elector.
He was going to resign. She fired him one day before his resignation date.
She is sooooo anti-white, it's pathetic.
I really hope she winds up in jail...or at least broke.
The chances of finding a jury in Rochester to go against her is "0".
what a lovely woman /s
She’s an indicted NYS elector.
A “study” was released earlier exonerating her handling of such by a bunch of sycophants.
We took the bus to the beach and uptown and walked to the Public Market. It was a glorious youth.
Now, I roll up my windows when going through the city....in hopes of deflecting a bullet.
I lived there from 1978-1994 when I could no longer take it anymore (nor my kids—crime, horrid schools, kids getting harassed in school)
Moved to a quaint quiet village 40 minutes NE of downtown Rochester, 20 minutes from Lake Ontario and raised my kids there for 12 years.
Now I live 40 min SE of the city and have been here for 14 years.
It’s a shame what it has become- many places likewise that used to be great places to live or vacation, like in Maine, are now over run by obama imports and illegal immigrants and just unsafe to be out alone walking through the town at night- some places so bad even daytime is risky-
Rochester now consists of a lifeless downtown, surrounded on 3 sides by ghettos
My parents live in Maine just outside of Augusta. They are quite elderly (hitting their late eighties now) Although they live in a rural area, they have been broken into while out at church a couple years back.
We moved from the city to Charlotte in 1976...stayed there for 10 years and then moved to a suburb east of the city. Good move!! Still here.
And the 4th side (Southeast) is headed down that road and has been for quite some time. Used to be safe in the Culver Rd/Monroe Ave area. Not so much.
Farmington is the “hot” suburb right now. Canandaigua is going down the tubes rapidly. The “sheriff” is a Demonrat.
Yep- unfortunately the crime is creeping through even into the rural areas- soem of it is just boredom, kids growing up in rural towns do ‘daring’ things- and outgrow it, some though is drug related- kids in rural areas again, bored, do drugs- then get hooked-
I think though a lot of obama transplants are moving into the rural areas too- (obama imported them to the bigger cities/town)- and illegals, looking for work, go into rural areas to work the farms too- bringing in some cases, crimes along- (Not saying all illegals are criminals, but some indeed are- )
our country is slowly being taken over by islamists and illegals- and biden wants to increase the numbers massively-
We have friends in Maine, down near southern border- and they state it’s becoming “Boston Lite” in some areas- Shame, it was such a great place to visit, vacation too-
Actually, Rochester started turning bad quickly when the Cosa Nostra came to town and really set up shop at about 1965. They paved the way for other baddies who were even worse than them. When Albert W. Skinner was Sheriff, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department was one of the best in the country. Skinner was without doubt whatsoever a straight shooter, with the emphasis on straight; and required his deputies to be of likewise quality. But the riot agitators who brought severe civil disturbance to Rochester in 1963-64 was another bad influence that has never gone away.
So what happened to this fellow, Prude?
He overdosed on PCP
