A staggering 264 police officers were killed in the line of duty in 2020 representing a 96% increase compared to the previous year, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
As of Dec. 31, 2020, the 264 officers killed consisted of federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial officers in the line of duty compared to 135 officers who died in the line of duty in 2019. The Memorial Fund’s report also records the deaths of officers in the category of “other” causes, which includes COVID-19 deaths, which is up 300% compared to other causes last year.
Approximately 246 of the fallen officers were men and 18 were women with the average age of the fallen officer 47 years old with at least 17 years of service on the job and on average. Each fallen officer left behind two children.

Obviously governors, mayors and Congress has no concern for the loss of Police Officers ...heck they led the charge against them!

Compare this to US casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan, over the same time period. Boggles the mind.

And the 96% increase in police officer deaths just happens to coincide with the demonization of police that occurred from late-May forward.
Um, 100% more means twice as many.

95.5% increase

The LEFT is winning the war on cops
They should do a study to see the political affiliation of cop killers, and whether they are more likely to be killed in democrat areas, then publish the info along that narrative. Here at FR I’m sure we already know the answer, but unless layed out in cited research in a story it will be conjecture to the left. Give them the science they ask for deserve and trust.
And in response, the cops have turned squarely against MAGA people and good Americans. They knelt before their murderers.
THis is misleading. 264 died. They were not all “killed”, in the strict sense.
According to the article they got the information from, of the 264 police deaths this year, 145 died of COVID.
math is racis’.
And how many blacks murdered by other blacks compared to blacks killed by police? No problemo...nothing to see..just move on.
