Kasich: GOP Leadership ‘Fostered Lies and Misinformation’ for ‘False Prophet’ Trump
Breitbart ^ | January 28 2021 | Pam Key

Former Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) said Thursday on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time” he holds the Republican leadership responsible for fostering “foster lies and misinformation” that enabled President Donald Trump, who Kasich called a “false prophet.”

Kasich said, “The situation is that the Republican leadership has really gone along in fostering these lies, these conspiracies. You know, the election was stolen.”

Portman just said he is retiring, and for the next 2 years
will be voting to pass the Biden program.

Meaning he will screw his state passing anti fracking and
coal legislation.

I see Senator Jim Jordan taking his place.

Ohio has a bright future without K-Suck and Rino Portman in
office. Portman knows Ohio is Trump country. He knew he is gonner.

The false prophet is a religious leader.

Kasich is either misinformed or stupid.

I am betting he is both.

What the actual *F*?

WHO considered “The Donald” a prophet? Not one Christian, I can guarantee that.

President Trump may have been the “last great hope” for some. He did try to do the best he could for his countrymen, though he was vilified for it.

I wish him the best, and pray for him, and the rest of us.

I think the free market and freedom itself are pretty much done. I hope I am wrong. I see little but crushing control in the near and indefinite future. I’ve been wrong before. I hope I still am.

BTW, the current trend of software ignoring the double space after a period/full stop is confusing for those of us that understand the reasons WHY it became a convention.

It will be learned again. After the new Dark Ages are over.

In the wake of the Kennedy assassination President Johnson asked Earl Warren to investigate the affair and render a report. Earl Warren, Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, was a man with whom many disagreed concerning his judicial writs but on the whole he was a man widely respected for integrity across the country. The report he rendered was voluminous and clear in its verdict: the assassin acted alone.

Nevertheless, conspiracy theories concerning who assassinated John Kennedy abound to this very day. Whether the Warren report was complete and accurate is not my point. At the time it appeared to be complete and accurate. Yet the conspiracy theories contradicting the report have never stopped.

The conspiracy theories concerning Trump's alleged collaboration with Russia in the so-called Russiagate affair persist to this day despite the fact that the Muller report fully exonerated Trump.

One can only imagine the breadth and depth of the belief across the country that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump in the absence of any transparent official investigation and report concerning the truth of the matter. The belief that the election was stolen will persist for decades-and rightly so. We have no transparent official investigation and report, to the contrary we hear that any individual who calls for investigation, such as senators Cruz and Hawley, should be punished. Those who publicly question the honesty of the election are labeled domestic terrorists. Rather than transparency we get tyranny.

All this in the wake of the callow abdication by the courts and virtually every other institution such as state legislatures and the federal legislature to transparently investigate the legitimacy of the election.

If the Warren report could not put an end to theories of conspiracy concerning the Kennedy assassination, it did at least permit us to carry on as a country. Today, we will have no Warren report, no Muller report, and no commonly accepted truth upon which to consent to be governed.

This is an open sore that will never be healed under these circumstances. The brazenness of the fraud together with the cynical reaction of people like Kasich and Senator Duckworth tell us that there will never be a healing.

We have a cancer on the Republic that festers and grows until it could destroys us. A constitutional republic requires the general assent of the public to the proposition that things are fair. Our government is currently illegitimate because it has lost the confidence of nearly half the nation. Our people are disillusioned and rightly so, witness the current short squeeze scandal on Wall Street illustrating that the cynicism and disillusionment is now open and notorious and it extends to all our institutions.

The temptation to draw historical parallels to the fall of great civilizations is difficult to resist. The disintegration comes from within.

The terrifying reality is that a good portion of the Democrat party that is causing this rupture of confidence is indifferent to the prospect that the country will disintegrate. Many of the left are simply venal but many others would welcome the chaos to come so that they might seize power utterly unimpeded by constitutional restraint.
