On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day,” Senate Majority Whip and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin (D-IL) said there should be an investigation of the sexual harassment charges against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) and “credibility given to the charges.”

I see this as an attack on the Clinton faction, ultimately.
I suspect most top Democrats are deeply corrupted - the question then is if/when those corruptions are revealed to the public as a result of internal political battles.

Andrew ‘Sonny’ Cuomo is head of the wrong family. The ‘tong’ that employs Beijing Joe, aka the CCP, wants to ensure there are no challengers to Beijing Joe and Heels-up. Obviously, Durbin is a low level functionary of the ‘tong’ so he speaks out against ‘Sonny’ Cuomo.

My analysis is this is the opening salvo in the Kamala Harris’s VP race.
I suspect word was out she was considering him for VP as early as April of this year - he needs simple majorities in both Houses of Congress, and this is a move from Team Abrams to block him.

I would agree with you but for the fact that the Constitution stipulates that the VP must be eligible for the Presidency, which Barry is not, having served two terms. On the other hand, he is a Democrat . . .

Barack Obama is ABSOLUTELY eligible to serve as President.
What does the XXII Amendment forbid?
It forbids Barack Obama from being ELECTED President again. It does not prohibit him from serving, if he comes to office some other way. It doesn't even prohibit him from being elected Vice President, should it come to that.
Read the Amendment, and tell me if you disagree.
It would have been very easy to draft an Amendment that said, "After serving two terms...no person shall be further eligible to the office of President or Vice President of the United States, but that's not what it says.
OK. But as a practical matter, does it matter who the sock puppet is?
Actually, the 12th Amendment states that "no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."
