A Marine Corps Twitter account over the weekend lashed out at a civilian that suggested the service focus on China and not Tucker Carlson, then later apologized for the tweet after it received widespread scrutiny.
The move came after Carlson delivered a monologue last week commenting that China was focusing on making its young men more masculine, while President Joe Biden was focusing on reforms to make the military more accommodating to women, such as maternity flight suits.
Progressives in the military expressed anger over those comments, claiming Carlson was attacking women in the military.
Military commanders and senior enlisted leaders began commenting on Twitter en masse, slamming Carlson’s comments and speaking about the importance of women in the military.
The Marine Corps’ Twitter account for the II Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) Information Group (IG) joined in on criticizing Carlson, tweeting:
“What it looks like in today’s armed forces @TuckerCarlson. Get right before you get left, boomer,” with a photo of a female Marine carrying another female Marine.
After a Twitter user by the name of “Scott Malkinson” tweeted: “Please focus on China and not Tucker,” the Marine Corps account responded: “Come back when you’ve served and been pregnant.”

The tweets received widespread public condemnation for their suggestions that a media figure or civilian could not criticize or comment on military affairs without being attacked or ridiculed by the military — an undermining of the American principle of civilian rule over the military.
The II MEF IG account quickly sent a series of apologies for its tweets.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Sunday sent a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin over the matter. He wrote:

The Marine Corps has always been very protective of their image, lest everyone figures out the US doesn’t need two land armies. The only reason the US has a Marine Corps is because of the American people.
They should tread very lightly.

Hmm, I’d bet that WMs are over-represented in those billets.
If the Secretary of Defense can’t get his troops under control then he needs to go. They need to trace down everyone commenting and run them out of the military and make it so publicly shameful it never happens again.
These chuckle heads are proving Tucker’s point, but they’re too stupid to see it.
Anyone here who still thinks that the US military won’t follow orders to oppress US civilians and confiscate arms is an idiot. Evidence that this isn’t that kind of military is above.
Politicians in the last Democrat administrations have decided that the military is a garden for social experiments.
The Marines have now joined the other branches of the modern-day military in being infested with thin-skinned and woke shadows of their former selves. Never thought I’d see the day.
What makes you think that his troops’ actions are contrary to the position of SecDef in this administration?
The American military under Biden is attacking American civilians exercising their First Admendment rights.Who were the military personel who made these attacks and why are they not under arrest?

Shall I translate....... I’m a woman in the military. I’m in the military. All must yield to my selfless service. All who do not are cowards. I serve. Did I also tell you that all I have to do is go to the Navy Psychiatrist on base, tell them I’m depressed and have no self worth and the Navy will give me a boob job or other plastic surgical procedures to cheer me up, courtesy of the US taxpayer.
BTW, I serve and I expect a thank you everything time you see me and you should covertly pay for my coffee, lunch, dinner, everything. I serve.

On a side note, once she tells her command that she is pregnant, she’s relieved of most of her duties and gets some crazy maternity time.
My daughter is graduating soon. She was contacted by the Army recruiter a few weeks ago, and just recently, the marines.
My daughter is totally not interested in the armed forces, and I don’t blame her.
Reading this, we’ve lost the MC. Never thought I’d see the day. I’m even more relieved she has decided not to go the military route.
We’re boned.
Maybe the Mil Twatter needs more time polishing a bell with a toothbrush and 2AM full-pack runs around P Island.
