What’s actually happening there? Some big factory I haven’t heard about? I mean it’s just another average town on I-70.

I use Marketwatch a lot but it is full Lefty. Got banned about a year ago, let me back on again recently.

CNBC not any better, and has inferior layout for quick checks of the markets.

"Generally, people are moving OUT of major sh!thole cities and really crappy Democrat-governed states to places with a lot more freedom, more conservative governance, and far better fiscal management", And, lots of white people.

True, but no income tax and soon to be not the United States, right?

“I’ve noticed that these types of articles NEVER attribute the movement of people to crappy governance.”

Pritzker is blaming census loss of congressional seat on all the college students going to school out of state!🤣

Refugees from Taxachusetts rolling down I-93 to the Boston area. I’m one of them.

“They are flocking to Florida in droves. Its panic buying of real estate.”

It is true.

However, I can’t tell you why, unless it is cheaper than Hell.

That 6% income tax sounds un-appealing.

Just a couple of weeks ago a dot-commer California classmate posted on Facebook saying they were bailing out of the Bay Area and going to C-d-A. I feel sorry for C-d-A getting Californicated, but it is also true California killed the goose that laid the golden egg and everyone is leaving, especially San Francisco area.

I know of a 100 ft wide peninsula jutting out into the Yukon river approximately 3 miles upstream from Galena Alaska. Great spot for a honeymoon cottage back in 1958.

You can bet the Massholes are moving to New Hampshire.

NH is now a suburb of Boston.

“destroying Idaho”

In Portland, OR about a dozen years ago there were signs pleading not to Californicate Portland. They got something worse.

“Still haven’t figured out the Springfield, Ohio and Lafayette-West Lafayette, Ind., unless it’s people leaving the big cities in Ohio and Indiana.”

I don’t know about Springfield Ohio but my guess for Lafayette Indiana is people from Chicago are moving into Indiana.

“Leesburg is the county seat of Loudoun County, Virginia. It was built in 1740 and is named for the Lee family, early leaders of the town and ancestors of Robert E. Lee. In the War of 1812, it became the temporary seat of the United States government, and in the Civil War, it changed hands several times.”
