I’ll be 76 years old next month and not in the best of health and that’s exactly what I’m doing. I have a will but I’m looking for ways to keep more of my money that I’ve earned/invested in the family and out of the hands of government.
My wife passed away 2 years ago and the decisions about who gets what are mine and those decisions are not always easy. I have 6 adult children, 27 grand children and and 12 great grand children.
WOW, we’re a little younger with 2 kids, 4 grands and 2 bonus grands. Crap, I’ll just have the house completely remodeled, get the acreage landscaped to the sky and pay out of the checking and do away with personal savings. Draw out the stocks and buy lots of mason jars or go back to canned coffee.......is that what this is coming to?????

About your age - but all my family, except me, has more money that I can imagine - they are all in the 1% or higher class. And if I was homeless and starving, they would all laugh and refer me to welfare agencies, if they even noticed. Family, to them, is like electing a President - its all about appearances, nothing else.
So I’m trying to think of friends I know who would value what little (comparatively) I have and own.

They pocket all the money and don’t report any to the IRS.
But some people pay with checks and they have to be deposited.

This is what I call, “The Assumption of Guilt.” It already occurs with large dollar financial transactions. Try to deposit a large cash amount and you will be assumed guilty of drug trafficking or terrorism. Oh, you can prove your innocence by filling out a form. I hate these MF’ers. They infringe on our freedoms and liberties and just turn their heads the other way. Case in point with the border situation today. Obviously, there are zero drugs and no human trafficking occurring at the border.
