President Joe Biden claimed Monday that Americans wanted to go back to work, even as he warned workers against collecting expanded unemployment checks if they were actually offered a job.
“Americans want to work … I think the people who claim Americans won’t work even if they find a good and fair opportunity underestimate the American people,” said Biden at a speech on the economic recovery at the White House.

Literally EVERY store and business in my area has help wanted signs up.
Some of them are offering insane “sign on bonuses” for jobs like fast food slingers or shelf stockers.
They’re begging for workers but I reckon they’re making better money sitting home.

Example. Ask a welfare recipient who claims ill health and disability so won’t look for a job, are you really that bad off?
They nearly always can do something. If the derelict at the freeway exit with a cardboard begging sign can stand for 6-8 hours then he or she can do that at a factory. Good stamina, too.
