It may have been Frank Sinatra’s kind of town, but it doesn’t appear to be anyone else’s.
The late “Let’s Get Away From It All” singer’s Palm Desert, California hideaway — first listed in 2007 — is back on the market for $4.25 million.
The remote Coachella Valley property was then re-listed again — in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020 — but each time has failed to attract a buyer.

I am sure most Gen z and millennials have no idea who Sinatra is.

Someone should make an offer they can’t refuse.

Sinatra’s old digs would have the same kind of appeal as, say, the Playboy Mansion will have — whenever it comes on the market.

My RE friends tell me that if showings drop off and no offers come in, it’s time to lower the price.

Love it. I’d remove some of the decor but other than that, perfect!

Nice place. Probably too much warmth. Most people now want everything white and industrial looking.

There is no amount of bleach or disinfectant that would get me to set foot in that place.

Since it’s so remote, it might make a nice little “Galt Gulch”.

Keep adjusting the price until offers appear. Everything sells when the price is right.

Yeah all that mid century log cabin look is a bit much. But if you have $4.25M you can probably afford a gut job.

Not true. Well you did say most so that may be true. But surprisingly I know a number of both generations who like jazz and by extension Sinatra. He was not Jazz, but somehow they seem to associate him with jazz. Others of the Rat Pack not so much. Only people like me who grew up with Bing Crosby Christmas show or Sammy Davis's Candyman still remember them. But Sinatra seems to be timeless.

I wouldn’t give ya 4 mil for the whole state. Desert is worthless to me.

A place that old will certainly have some serious structurial problems. Looking at the photos, I can see water stains on the walls. Tells me the roof has problems. I will pass.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Perhaps the place needs more naked women pictures on the walls?

My Attorney and his wife own this house. And a good friend used to be the live on site caretaker. He had the place to himself for many years, pretty cool.

Millions of people across the nation will be saying...Frank who??
The furnishings are just plain gross.
Someone must be using it as a big write off.

Rumor has it that Sinatra and his mobster pals stashed a lot of money there. Thank you for my commission check.
