Marshall University in Huntington, WV is named after John Marshall. Guess that school has to be renamed too.

Thurgood Marshall has the same last name. Remove that name too...could trigger the similarly invincibly ignorant and can’t have that.
George Washington did not want to break up any families which made the process very complicated, since some of the slaves he owned (and could free) were married to dower slaves (which he could not free).
The shade of Thomas Jefferson, wherever it resides, must be smiling. He and Marshall were related but he did not like Marshall and resented John Adams’ decision to make Marshall the Chief Justice shortly before Adams left office.
To be fair, shouldn’t we call upon the Democrats to renounce the use of judicial review (Marbury v. Madison) since it was developed by John Marshall?
