Fresh off his several-month hiatus for being caught in an inappropriate situation during a Zoom call with his former New Yorker staff members, CNN chief legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin is sounding the alarm on voting rights expansion.
Tuesday, the Senate failed to meet the 60-vote threshold needed to advance the debate on the so-called “For the People Act,” which would have federalized America’s electoral system.

Every single country in the G20 stipulates that voters MUST present a government-issued photo ID when voting. The UK was the last country to adopt the regulation country-wide.
And yet, these people are acting like it’s the end of democracy. Toobin should stick to the subject he knows best: exposing himself to women on Zoom calls.

Toobin did not elaborate on that comment, which is probably a good thing.
I would offer the observation that once you federalize the election process....you might as well change the flag and have one star/one stripe...the flag would no longer represent 50 states...it’s a one system/one country dynamic.
This is the whole of the crisis facing the nation today....the agenda is built to cross-out fifty states.

They want ELECTED officials in states to have to check in with UNELECTED officials in the federal government on what laws the people of those states MAY have.

I don’t even want to get into discussion about this disgusting perv, but it’s annoying as hell that our media in general are such inveterate liars. “Unless you let the Dems cheat and rig elections and phony-up absentee ballots, you’re the enemy of democracy!” That’s the narrative. There’s zero acknowledgment that “democracy” is a two-way street. For it to function, *everyone* (or at least almost everyone) has to believe that it’s basically fair. The Dems and the media (I don’t know why I even distinguish between the two, as they’re essentially the same thing) have this idea that it matters not a whit if half the population thinks that *they* are cheating.
