Joe Biden has been reported to have the most expensive White House payroll in U.S. history. In its annual Staff Report to Congress on Thursday, the White House detailed salaries for all of its more than 500 employees.
Biden’s staff will cost taxpayers nearly $50 million a year, which is approximately $10 million per year more than the Trump administration. Press Secretary Jen Psaki and 21 other aides topped the list by taking in the maximum salary of $180,000 dollars per year.
Biden acted fast in comparison to his predecessors when staffing the White House with a noticeable influx in so-called czars, assistants and fellows. There are already 190 more employees within the White House than there were during President Trump’s time in office and 80 more than the staff under Barack Obama.
Over the next four years, Biden’s staff is projected to cost taxpayers more than $200 million dollars. In comparison, the Trump administration spent less than $165 million and had nearly 200 fewer employees.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how many people are on Jill Biden’s staff? I think Mooch’s staff was around a dozen.
They should really do something about this massive waste of money. Simply limit the amount of employees the president can have on staff and what they can be paid. . It’s just an excuse to give jobs to your donors anyway.

Interestingly, when Trump came into the White House with Melania only having four staffers, conservative blogs - understandably - made a big point of it. Some ‘fact-checkers’ flat-out lied and tried to memory the ample reporting throughout the Obama tenure on the number of total Michelle Obama staffers. Politifact even tried to claim the number was 10. It wasn’t.
If fact-check.org says it was 22, the number was likely closer to 40, I suspect.

I don’t know why this is surprising. Anyone who has had to care for a loved one with alzheimers knows that getting nursing home accommodations for memory care is very expensive.
Well, beside the fact that inflation is creating a need for larger paychecks, Democrats always require more money. I have heard that for many years from businesses that have to pay the local pols protection money in order to continue doing business.
