Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, and Lauren Boebert may get most of the attention from the press among Republicans on the House of Representatives, but a rising star has started to his some radars, especially in conservative media. Mary Miller from Illinois is definitely on ours.

With the four aforementioned Representatives all from red or purple states (though some would say Boebert’s Colorado has shifted to firmly blue lately), it’s nice to see a blue state Republican who is so bold in her conservatism. When it comes to face masks, she’s as bold as they get.

It’s with businesses and schools that it becomes dicey. Ask the nurses in Houston being forced to take the vaccine in order to work there. It’s their careers and livelihoods being threatened. Ask Col. Flynn being being cornered into a decision because not doing so impacts your family.

10) signal to positions of power that you are willing to give up all of your rights and freedoms based on anything they say, even if it is a BIG FAT LIE!

With our current pathetic crop of five GOP Congresscritters gerrymandered into super safe Republican districts, she is the ONLY remaining solid conservative from Illinois. She's also a definite upgrade from her predecessor John Shimkus (we replaced a "backbencher" with a "fighter"... ironically what the Liz Cheney fanclub had in mind for her, only it backfired horribly in that case)

I have to wear one because as you know Doctor I work in an ER. I like my job and at my age and my health working in a hospital ER is a blessing. But wearing the damn thing has nearly ruined my face. My nose is almost constantly red and sore, my cheeks are chapped and chaffing even with using moisturizer. I'm sick and tired of breathing my own stale breath after half an hour even with constant teeth brushing. I have no idea when our hospital execs are going to end the wearing of these damned things. I'm beginning to suspect it will be permanent.
