Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) slammed some in the Republican Party for “whitewashing” the Jan. 6 Capitol breach.
In an interview on “The Takeout Podcast,” CBS News’s Major Garrett asked the governor to weigh in on efforts within the GOP to “sanitize” the attack, which led to multiple deaths and hundreds of arrests.
“We have to get to the bottom of exactly what happened there, and there's no whitewashing,” Hogan said.

The key to Maryland is that it is dominated by the center part of the State - Baltimore City, PG County (both heavily minority and D), and Montgomery County (the latter is the greatest concentration of white liberals outside the Boston Corridor). There are great parts of the state, with great people - northern MD, the Eastern Shore, the NW mountains and the far coastal south but they don’t have the numbers to offset the kook vote - in this regard, its like New Jersey. That is why when the Dems go too far (imagine that!) they will elect a half-a***d R governor like Hogan.
I am very tired of fake Repubs who claim Trump ordered an assualt on Congress. I say BS. Show me the proof.

We are too busy with inflation, wildfires, crime, riots, Covid, etc to care about a one day protest at the Royal Palace. Let the royals take to their fainting couches and quit demanding we care that a mere subject touched their Holy Scepter.
