She was riding shotgun – with an AK-47.
The San Francisco Police Department posted a photo of a woman hanging out of the passenger seat of a speeding Cadillac.
“During an illegal exhibition of speed event at Barneveld & McKinnon, a passenger leaned out of a Cadi holding an AK47,” the traffic safety unit said in a tweet about the July 11 incident.
The vehicle from the Wild West scene was finally tracked down and seized Wednesday, police said.
A speed exhibition is a crime under California’s Vehicle Code 23109, KRON4 reported.
Police did not say whether the gun-toting woman or anyone else was arrested, or whether she pulled the trigger. The SFPD did not immediately respond to a request for comment by The Post.

Yep, an absolutely idiot thing for the writer to say. The wild west was nothing like the movies depicting it. Gunfights were extremely rare. As Robert Heinlein said, “An armed society is a polite society.”
Of course, that only applies when the people armed are raised in families with a father. If they’re raised without a father, then they are feral animals. Then, you get Chicago.

There were three separate fatal highway accidents within this last week on a local highway. We used to have that many in a year. I see multiple road rage incidents on this highway every time I travel it. An hour after we got home yesterday there was a major accident right where we had been.
The highway leads to Portland, by the way.

I’ve noticed the same thing.
When I started driving forty-plus years ago, I quickly recognised that every day you would somewhere encounter a pyscho’ and if you wanted to stay safe then it was best to just keep out of their way. Today it is literally every third driver.
