As one of only two people who survived 9/11 by surfing down the Twin Towers collapse, Pasquale Buzzelli has a mixture of survivor’s guilt and gratefulness.
“Here I am given this gift, and I wanted to make the most of it,” he told 60 Minutes Australia. At the same time, he struggles to make sense of why he survived and others didn’t.
Perhaps it was a mixture of luck, divine intervention, and quick wits to pick a place to weather the collapse: curled up in the corner of a stairwell against two concrete walls.

How sadly ironic: He survived this horrific attack on liberty only to end up locked down 20 years later in the new Australian covid penal colony.
Weren’t a couple firemen who survived also found in a stairwell? The stairwells were the core of the building, so that turned out the “safest” place to be.
Oh my gosh. People still believe that crap?
Not to take away from the story.
But I think think this guy has appeared on multiple media’s including William Shatners Weird or What 10 years ago.

My thoughts exactly. This nonsense was pretty much tossed aside within a few weeks of 9/11.
You may have been thinking about the fireman who saved a black woman when the towers collapsed. There were about a half dozen and the woman was having trouble walking. True story, One guy used PBX cable, tied it to a stairs and climbed down to where he could find usable stairs. He convinced 5 others i think it was to follow him and they all made it out. Others on his floor were too scared to climb down slippery PBX cable and it is slippery, plastic sheath.
Trump talked about how the WTC were the first buildings to be built from the outside. The windows were very narrow.
He described the buildings as being built like cans of soup. Then I saw a clip of what a bird flying into a plane does to the front part of the plane.
What if the Truthers and all the people we mocked in the 2000s were right? Trump even mentioned there had to be bombs in the building, and then you see these magnificent steel structures just turn into dust?
Being the plane would be going around 500mph I would question if the plane would be in such good focus. Maybe because it's digital but it looks very suspect.
I had no idea anyone in those buildings survived the collapse(s). Wow! What a story.
