This year of all years, it was jarring to see out-of-state leaders of the party that campaigned on “Defund the Police” elbowing aside heroes of that day to stand in posed solemnity as the names of the fallen were read aloud at Ground Zero. They may as well have spat on the graves.
At least Biden did not make a speech, because it would not have gone down well. …

Was disgusting to see...so I didn’t watch it... rather sought out videos of the 9/11 events as it happened etc. Also listened to rumps speech a couple nights ago calling for 21 day prayer for the nation....His speech this year was the best out there honoring the heroes and what a President should do but didn’t this year.

Thing is, I lived 9/11, know it’s significance, and have no need to replay the worst movie of my life.
Woke up this morning and made blueberry pancakes from scratch.
Needed a laugh, so I watched Biden piss himself on live TV.

Yes he is. Although it's true he is not as vigorous as he used to be, I do not believe Biden has full-blown senility or dementia. He was never smart and probably the surgeries for his two aneurysms caused at least some degree of brain damage. But the fact is that one does not need to be smart to be a U.S. senator. Decades in the senate insulates a person from much in life that is difficult.
The only thing, a senator has to do is get reelected every six years and hire reasonably competent staff to actually do the day-to-day office work. Otherwise a senator really is nothing more than a paid layabout.
It the senate, like very senator, all Biden had to do was toe the party line, be an attack dog when called upon to be one, and rake in the big bucks from "donors." All of his many faults were hidden behind the curtain of party politics and senatorial privilege. Now, as president, Biden is the same stupid, nasty, entitled, arrogant individual he always was, but he can't hide his true self so easily due the nature of the presidency.
I’ve been surprised for years that individuals would show up to a memorial where the likes of Hillary Clinton would show up. Any of my deceased relatives, if alive, would be angrier at me than at the unwelcome grifter.
Never forget that this ‘downfall’ began with GHW Bush and his speech about the New World Order!

I think we got lucky that nothing happened on 9/11 this year. Our borders have been open and we flew how many refugees here. I wonder if the 80+ billion of weapons left behind was a pay out for them not attacking us.
I agree. He is too arrogant to let others control his actions and words. He’s a double portion of mean, angry and selfish; he’s Joe Biden A$$wipe with dementia. He’s dangerous because of that. Hardly, if anyone’s been paying attention, you’d realize the Executive Branch is in charge. The President calls maybe 10% of the plays. They will listen to suggestions from him. Maybe if it advances the cause they will implement. The rest he does what he’s told. Proof? “I’m saying too much.”, says Joe Biden.

I entirely agree. When you get old you’re just more of what you were when you were younger, and as you develop dementia (which I do think is happening), you get angrier and more defensive.
I think the Dems thought he’d be easy to control, but I think he’s on a destructive course (even by their standards) that they now realize they can’t control because he’s angry, irrational, and doesn’t even seem to notice when somebody tries to rein him in . The photo of him crazily yelling to somebody across the stage while the rest of the pols around him are shooting him looks is priceless.
I don’t know if they’ll have the courage to go the 25th amendment; I doubt it. They’re probably hoping he’ll keel over before long...but I doubt that he’ll oblige.

I don’t know...I see him digging his heels in and getting furious if they suggest a strategic change. His impulse is to double down and get angry.
He agrees entirely with whatever agenda the cabal is putting out, but he’s being so arrogant and aggressive about implementing it that I think some of them may realize that he’s becoming a liability.
