An Oklahoma man said he caught COVID-19 while teaching at college preparatory high school despite receiving three shots of the Pfizer vaccine and requiring students to wear masks.
"No negotiation, no discussion, put it on or leave the room," Ted Hartley told The Oklahoman of his mask policy for students in his algebra class. "That was how we operated until I got sick."
He spoke with the newspaper from a hospital bed at Integris Baptist Medical Center, where he is being treated for complications from COVID-19.

If he has kidney issues and is taking Remdesivir, he likely will have kidney and heart failure while he is being treated. I listened to a practicing nurse discuss what was happening to patients getting Remdesivir and it wasn’t good.

His wife told The Oklahoman she is still surprised that he became sick in the first place after “18 months of doing everything we could” to avoid it.
Ted Hartley is also urging people to get vaccinated.
“Get as many as you need,” he said. “I needed three.”

Exactly!make the police show up and assault everyone, bet it on video. Back in the day students held sit ins when we wanted change. Sometimes we got it, sometimes not, but we at least fought. Every kid in his class should ripped their masks off.
Just say no and then ignore the crazy person. Works 98% of the time with no further drama.

Almost all the crazy people in Oklahoma live in Oklahoma or Tulsa counties.

Guess he shouldn’t have continued teaching during a pandemic then. Or asked to teach remotely via video. But nope, he’ll blame everyone else but himself, and try to force everyone to obey his demands because he’s special.
It doesn’t matter what precautions you take whe. The flu rolls around, or a pandemic breaks out. If you are around others, you are going to get it. It is a matter of not if you will get it,, but rather to what degree you will get it. He obviously was high risk for serious infection, and he should have known better tha to keep working in a high risk environment regardless of the steps taken to minimize exposure. Those measures are not effective. Especially being exposed day after day after day.
He only has himself to blame.
It’s crazy how with Polio when you’re vaccinated you don’t worry about other people around you not being vaccinated.
Yet with covid everyone has to vaccinated for your vaccine to work.

U.S.—Experts are now predicting that humans will make a giant evolutionary leap forward in the next few years, moving from walking around on two legs to rolling around in a giant ball of masks, thanks to ever-evolving mask guidelines.

Scientists believe humans' legs will slowly begin to atrophy as they no longer use them to walk around, as they'll be able to roll in the mask balls. Freeways will be converted into fun slides where you can just roll to work, and doors will be turned into Hobbit hole-style round entryways so you can just roll on into the office when office buildings open up again in a few years.
One competing study is challenging the idea that humans will be rolling around in a ball of masks and instead found that the entire earth will just be a big ball of masks hurtling around the solar system and smothering all human life within.
