A naked man wielding a “lengthy and pretty thick” homemade spear in Ohio was shot by deputies as he charged at them during an ambush attack, sheriff officials said Wednesday.
The suspect, who was not immediately identified, came within a “couple feet” of deputies when he was shot and wounded in Center Township after a woman called to report a naked man in his 50s pounding on her door, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies first received a report of a nearby suspected arson late Tuesday and responding investigators found the residence didn’t have any heat or electricity.
Hours later, a woman called deputies just after midnight to alert them to a naked man who was in the entryway of her home and trying to break in while yelling that he was stabbed and “wanted in,” sheriff officials said.

I’ve seen some episodes of that. Ouch. They get mosquito bites in places you don’t want to think about getting bit. Clothes serve some good functional purposes.

As bad as things have gotten I still refuse to believe that all cops are bad, and this was a suicide mission. This was the goal when they demonized police police last year. They don’t even pretend to be liberal, progressive or democrat[sic] any more. I read an article over at AMgreatness about that, “The Left Can Finally Admit What it Wants”, so give that a look. We’ve also zoomed past socialist and are rounding the corner into communism. Democrats built this, and every attack on cops to come too.
Yes, at the least bring a gun. Otherwise we’ve got to change the fight name.

I live just one township over from there. Be interesting to see how the Monroe County weekly newspaper treats it.
Monroe is said to be the poorest county in Ohio, (made considerably poorer by Teh Halfrican). I’ll grant you, there are some “interesting” characters living in the gullies and gravel back-roads here. Most of the county sheriff’s business is drug apprehensions.
