Food shortages were reported to be spiking across the country Tuesday as President Joe Biden struggles to resolve the supply chain crises crippling the nation.

“People are hoarding [food],” CEO and founder of Saffron Road, a producer of frozen and shelf-stable meals, Adnan Durrani told the Seattle Times. “What I think you’ll see over the next six months, all prices will go higher.”

What causes hoarding? Posting articles with headlines like that.

What's next? Blame the hoarders (i.e. people who prepare).
It's coming.

And yet in Ca the sweat corn producer I know lost 30% of his crop at least. For lack of labor.

Next year, he needs help, I will go and help.

There are two kinds of people in 2021:

Hoarders and

Fools.

Yep. Most people if seeing some product is out of stock, shrug it off and say I’ll get it next time. Once the media begins to cry “wolf’ it raises the alarm and becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Just another way our rulers manipulate us, and encourage us to seek relief through dependence on government.

This highlights what a stolen election gets you. Biden henchmen have no incentive to fix this, their re-election to power is guaranteed by forever vote packing minority areas in the major cities of swing states.

When Covid first became a thing and people began to fear a crumbling supply chain, Trump was on it and had all the major players at the White House re-assuring the nation.

Hoarding is not the same as stocking up when prices rise and we can see the writing on the wall.

My wife and I have been prepping for the last year.

Yesterday, she went to stock up on canned goods and large quantity dry stuffs.

She said she got several looks as she was pushing her cart to the checkout.

The way I figure it, we only need about two months of supplies if SHTF. There won’t be many people able to go that long, so supplies should be easier to come by at that point.

My neighbors and us have a mutual plan. He has honeybees and hives and fruit trees and I have dairy goats and horses. That and a nice stock of heirloom seeds...

I’ve said too much...

Saw a POC stocking up like that the other day, only he was building up inventory of bacon and beer.

Yup. Same with gasoline in the 70s. Everyone was topped off.

Can’t blame him/her. Bacon is a great prep food if you can keep it frozen.

Beer keeps morale up. The military, in years past but not nowadays, used alcohol as a morale builder.
