"Oh boy, it's what we've dreamed about? How fast can we hit $10?"
I’ve been to this market tourist store. Its all done in dark brown redwood, even the pump island in front.
I remember stopping in that town in the 1970’s while driving up the coast from L.A. to San Francisco with my patents and sister on Highway 1.
The whole town was one home and a mini-mart with a gas station.
Lookin sharp California!
“A sign at the gas station notes the next nearest station is 40 miles away to the north and 12 miles to the south.”
I’d charge more given those circumstances.
Well California, you voted for it (or maybe you actually didn’t - no way to know who really “wins” elections anymore...).
I wonder what break even is for CA lyft and Uber drivers?

Retarded story.
It’s always that expensive and more.
Last year I drove from Gilroy to Cambria to get some chicken at my favorite restaurant Robin’s in Cambria.
Yeah, it’s a long azz drive but, I love the place.
Wasn’t paying attention and needed gas.
Stopped in for gas and it was a bit over $8 a gallon BECAUSE IT IS IN A REMOTE LOCATION and it was another hour to Cambria.
Didn’t feel like hitch hiking for gas either.
They have really good lemon bars and sandwiches there as well and yes, they cost way more than everywhere else....
Views of the Pacific Ocean are stunning.
Great stop on my Hwy 1 drive...
Pretty sure I stopped at this exact place on a trip from SF to Big Sur. I almost ran out of gas (as there kept being NO stations across the route), but luckily was able to stop at this station before my tank ran dry. It was a sight for sore eyes. Even then (back in 2005) the gas was very expensive, but was estatic to get a fill-up that it almost did not matter.
Let’s go Brandon
Thanks Biden, Rats and RINOS.
I googled ‘most expensive gas in California’.
Got a station in Fresno at $4.90.
This place is so out of the way they don’t know about it.
Green New Deal Bernie and Company want it to go higher and higher. They believe people will drive less. Thank a Democrat.
Don’t forget to thank your politicians.
There are two gas stations in Orlando that are close to the airport. At any given time the price per gallon is double what is charged just 1/4 mile up the street. The business plan must be to catch rental car drivers who need to fill up before returning their cars at the airport.
At a restaurant parking lot next to one of the stations I overheard two travelers saying they were going next-door to fill up. Playing good neighbor Sam, I interrupted them and told them that if they did they would pay the highest gas prices in the US. I then directed them to two other stations a short distance north that had competitive prices.
I really feel sorry for the poor blokes who filled their tanks without looking at the price.
“High class problems”.
The free market is better than any alternative
$3.39 here in NY. Even NY is better than CA.
