Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-MI) called Wednesday for Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) to lose their positions in Congress if they kill their party’s spending legislation.
“If they make a commitment, we’re on,” Schakowsky said in a C-SPAN interview, speaking in reference to the duo’s position on $4.5 trillion in spending that Democrats have been pursuing through two legislative proposals. “If they don’t, how can we go forward?”
Asked what she would like to see happen if the legislation failed, Schakowsky — a 22-year member of the House and vice chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus — said she would like to see Manchin and Sinema voted out of the Senate.
“I think they’re going to be up for elections before not too long … I think that the voters ought to say, enough games, we’ve had enough of you, and to look for other employment,” Schakowsky said.

They loved it when John McCain and republicans of similar ilk caused legislation to be watered down.
They loved it when the DEMOCRATS prevented debate on legislation through the filibuster.

I’d love to have two independents in the Senate who caucus with the Republicans. That wouldn’t give McConnell a solid majority, but it would give him the gavel and control of the floor. I’ll volunteer to go help pack the boxes when Schumer is given 48 hours to vacate the Majority Leader’s suite in the Capitol.
Voters need to oust the wasteful overspending Democrats and others.
For all the talk from Democrats about how they respect voters, they would be willing to cancel the voters from two states just because they have disagreements. Political bullying at it’s worst.

I did not realize members of congress could oust U.S. senators. I thought that was up to the voters of the states represented by the senators.

They could be unseated (with a super majority) or at least censured (with a simple majority) by members of their own body, but not of the other legislative body.
