Hope the good officer is abundantly vindicated!
Hope he sues to get his job back, on the grounds that his 1st amendment rights were violated.
and this is why I never donate electronically. Why are people so effing lazy to go to 7-11, buy a money order and mail it with a fake return address? That’s another thing about rittenhouse web page, they should open a mailing address so people can safely mail money donations. usps takes a picture of it so as suggested write down a fake address. When I mail to FR it’s the Playboy mansion address..
That explains all the unusual visitors we’ve been having here lately
The only issue I see is him using his work email.
Firing for political reasons needs to be a criminal offense. Yes, sending the mayor and police chief to jail would be appropriate.
This was the idiot that donated using his work email address. You’re not allowed to do that in most companies and government agencies as it could be considered official endorsement of whatever they donated to.
Flip this around - what would you think if some government employee donated to BLM or AntiFa using their official email? Do you think that should be permitted?
See my immediately prior post. He was fired for using his official government email to donate, which is a firing offense in many organizations no matter *who* you donated to.
Just come to Florida officer...we can always use another quality cop. It’s warmer here and we’ll give you a $5000 bonus.
Are you serious? Who is the subhuman piece of pond scum who decided he should be fired? SUE!
Why does he want to work for the bums after that?
And more than likely, a much lower salary.
He should not just get his job back but own Norfolk to boot.
“And more than likely, a much lower salary”
Yeah your probly right. As a matter of fact I couldn’t recommend anybody move here....it really does suck.
It's a safe bet that he doesn't care for any of those people at all.
I suspect that a lieutenant with 19 years on the job at the Norfolk PD has learned since his firing how hard it's going to be to replace the salary and pension that he had. (That's what he's fighting for.)
But if you've accumulated debt and created a standard of living on one salary, you can't simply take a pay cut until you've cleared your debts and made the decision to scale down.
Can somebody please tell me why he would want his job back in Norfolk? His boss is obviously a POS, and DeSantis might give him $5000 to come work down here in Florida.
