Former Vice President Mike Pence said he believes he “did the right thing” when he certified the results of the 2020 presidential election in January, ignoring then-President Trump’s repeated requests that he object to the vote.
Pence, in an interview with Christian Broadcasting Network that is set to air on Thursday, said that “in my heart of hearts” he knows he did the right thing on Jan. 6.
He added that despite some concerns he had with the vote, his oath of office required him to protect and defend the constitution, which he believes he did by going against Trump’s orders and certifying the results.

Who cares. Just shut up.
Traitors must swing.
Well good for you. Now go have dinner with your wife while the men fix the country. Coward.
And that’s why your polical career is dead. Because you didn’t do the right thing, you did the cowardly thing. And look what we have because of it.
“ “To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to them and fitted to their talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour.””
Winston Churchill
Read it Pence.
Pence failed to do his duty. It was a difficult task for a strong man, and he wasn’t up to it. Just like CJ Roberts, he took the cowards way out.
The Pennsylvania legislature sent an official letter to Pence, specifically ordering him to NOT certify the PA electors. Traitor Pence ignored them.
Maybe so Pence.
But it was your failure in leading the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity for two years that led to Jan 6. You didn’t look at anything but illegals voting. And you were successfully blocked by states in looking at that.
You should have looked at the entire process not just illegals.
And you were also in charge of the Covid response team when they decided to lie to us and tell us masks were dangerous. Then had to backtrack on it a month later.
What the hell was he supposed to do? I’m just imagining the reaction in 2000 if the then VP (Algore) had done what the folks in this room wanted Pence to do.
Hey Mike, Go ahead and run in 2024 so you can learn how few people agree with you.
What happened on January 6th is history, and the actions of anybody on that day cannot be undone.
In regards to Mike Pence’s future political aspirations, let the chips fall where they may.
“despite some concerns he had with the vote, his oath of office required him to protect and defend the constitution, which he believes he did by going against Trump’s...”
How in the HELL does this man square his admitting to having concerns with the vote with protecting the Constitution?
You had A chance to do the right thing but you were and are still too much of a coward to “do the right thing.” Shut up and go away.
Still convincing ourselves are we? Sad, very sad.
In his hunter made in China wallet
i want to support Pence, I really really do
he proved to be a pretty good Veep (which isn’t saying much I realize, but compare him with the current Ineligible Occupant of that office and you’ll see what i mean)
i want to support him, but his action on 06 January was just horrid!!!
and he has shot off his mouth in anti-Trump rhetoric too...WTH? Why did he do THAT? Even IF he decided he didn’t like President Trump, to attack him in the mass media was totally uncalled for, unnecessary, and frankly self-demeaning
...showed awfully bad judgment
I will be looking for someone else to support instead of Mr. Pence
Look what we got..
I dont know if he is a traitor, but he and many others were gutless cowards.
