CNN medical analyst Leana Wen said Monday on “Newsroom” that cloth masks are “little more than facial decorations” in preventing the spread of the Omicron variant of coronavirus.

Anchor Victor Blackwell said, “Mayor Bill de Blasio said the city has not yet made a decision on if it will cancel the Time Square event for crowds to show up. Right now, you have to be vaccinated, and if they hold it. But for people considering going there or to the Peach Drop in Atlanta or any of the similar events across the country, what would your advice to them be? Good or not good, or if you are vaccinated, you’re fine? What do you think?”

I am being threatened with termination for refusing to wear a cloth mask at work. Given to me by a VP. Zampolit Karens in HR have lost their minds. I am literally paid to think for a living, and they expect me not to use my brain?

Those who have the gold make the rules. Hope you have a good retirement nest egg to fall back on when you are terminated. Since most states are right to work states the employer really doesn’t need an excuse to fire you. “Your services are no longer needed”.

It’s easy to bluster about being “forced” to do something and how you are going to quit, etc. But lots of folks don’t have that privilege and need their jobs. You may think they are sheep but I’d bet good money they have family to support and their family’s come first for them...so they won’t be virtue signaling by quitting their job...bet on it.

I already know of 3 people who said they wouldn’t wear a mask or get vaccinated or provide proof of being vaccinated as required by their employer...and they have been let go. I know this because they have called me asking if the department I work in is doing any hiring as they are now desperate for a job. And they did seek legal advice and were told...” the employer can set the rules for continued employment and if you violate those rules you can be let go as this a right to work state”.

I support free choice but be prepared for the consequences and people need have a plan for themselves and their family and how they are going to financially survive until they find other employment.

I was always told/taught that a vaccination was supposed to protect you from a specific disease, you got vaccinated so you wouldn’t catch the disease, is this not correct after almost 200 years of people being vaccinated to PREVENT DISEASE?

Is this Leana Wen person telling me that the Covid vaccine is nothing more than a placebo for the perpetually terrified politically correct people of the United States?

If the vaccine is ONLY A PLACEBO for the chronically cowardly and typically terrified people of the US what is the point of taking it at all?

If the UNVACCINATED and the VACCINATED can both catch the disease and die it seems to me that the game is a push.

I have heard that a VACCINATED person can give the disease to an UNVACCINATED person and the UNVACCINATED person can DIE; I have also heard that an UNVACCINATED person can give the disease to a VACCINATED person and the VACCINATED person can DIE, just sounds like a circlejerk to me.

I sent my siblings and others N95 masks from my stash when this first started (they were in my supplies already). Only one (a former nurse) would wear them. The others said they were too unconformable and would wear their cloth masks.

Of course they are the ones that also keep nagging me to get vaccinated.
