Video has emerged purporting to show a police dog mauling a man at an anti-lockdown protest in Amsterdam.
The footage, which was published on social media by an account called Guerrilla Reporters, appears to have been filmed during an anti-lockdown protest held in the Dutch capital on Sunday. In the video, a police dog is seen apparently biting a man’s arm as other officers used batons against the surrounding demonstrators.
At the time of this reporting, the local police have not confirmed the veracity of the video, however, a report from the public broadcaster Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (NOS) features an image appearing to show the same man being bitten by a police dog, with a caption that reads “the police have used dogs”.
Pictures that were published by the Getty Images photography service also appear to show the same instance of the police dog attack.
Thousands of Dutch citizens and protesters from across Europe gathered in the city on Sunday, despite the protest being banned by authorities on Thursday, according to the local newspaper De Telegraaf.

Pretty soon, people are going to start hitting back. There is a lot of anger out there.
The police will generate violence.
Many politicians will likely get the same treatment dictators received throughout history.

I remember in high school that evolution isn’t quick. It takes long periods (so it won’t happen during one lifetime).
It is proven by the fact that the human race has not progressed from the Nazi and Communist savagery of the past century.
Just put different words on the uniforms and this could be from either tyranny of those years.
A (mostly) unarmed people getting what unarmed people around the world get from their governments.
That may explain part of why the police here weren’t all that anxious to rough it up with the rioters the last few years.

Dear reporter. Mauling? I see the dog latch on to a left wrist and hang on. Maybe their daffynition is different. Seems like folks are getting their fill.
The police are your enemy, treat them accordingly.
That's a bit bold of the authorities to do that.
Those dogs when properly trained are supposed to let go instantly on command. That cop had NO control whatsoever. Was he trying to hit the top of the dogs head with the baton?

I am a devout critic of militarized policing and while I have no idea on how we sort out the good cops from the bad cops please do keep in mind that plenty of mostly rural departments are staffed by good people of conscience and duty.
It’s the urban departments in mostly socialist run cities that have become jackboots.
And still I do not wish them any lingering harm.
That said, a Mason jar full of ammonia tossed into a crowd of thugs with gas masks on will utterly defeat said gas masks.
A hundred such Mason jars will have a calming effect on rioting socialist enforcers.
The Dutch “paramilitary” police beating their fellow countryman, apparently to protect their health.
The Dutch government have lost the plot.
p.s. it’s inhumane to use dogs like this.

The guy’s friends who were trying to drag him away with the dog’s teeth embedded in his arm, sure did him no favors.

Pretty sure rural cops receive the same POST training as the big city cops. In any case, the current Peace Officer Safety Training is completely broken and needs to be overhauled by the public. (See “Killology” Dave Grossman)
