But lawfare doesn’t even need that many. One voter with a lot of lawyers can make a case.
Hopefully the judges shoot this down hard or send it straight to the Supreme Court. This kind of BS needs to be hit with a shovel hard.
Since there has not been one person charged with insurrection, this should be a no brainer.

This is what the “insurrection” narrative is all about.
Disqualifying the opposition in pursuit of one party rule.
It happens in every banana republic.
(which we have been since ALL our our elected AND appointed abrogated the Constitution on Usurpation Day)

I think the state of North Carolina needs to sue the 11 voters for bringing the collective IQ of the state down.

He can offer to resign just as soon as every left-wing office holder who has made statements against or acted against the U.S. constitution does the same.

A group of 11 North Carolina voters filed a legal challenge to disqualify Rep. Madison Cawthorn from running ... arguing his involvement in a rally preceding the ... riot on Capitol Hill constitutionally bars him from waging another campaign.

The vile hatred of Cawthorne by the liberals here in Western NC is thick enough to smell.

This is Marc Elias’s scheme to try and eliminate Repubs in congress.

Do they have standing? Conservative voters never get standing when we sue against voter fraud. We have to hope that the GOPe guy we’re holding our noses for sues but only after he loses and its too late.

Don’t these idiots know that “Dead eye” is one of them? Dang! He voted to impeach the president!
I’d like to see him gone also, but not this way.

This is like when they’d find one pastor who supported gay marriage, they’d blab it far and wide “Pastor supports gay mariage!” It was part of a larger plan to try to predent there was large group supporting the idea. And that’s how they generated social pressure for the idea. It’s astroturf.
Same thing here, eleven idiots call the liberal media, and get them to run the story - “Voters demand!”

The plaintiffs should be charged with contempt of court for bringing a frivolous lawsuit and the lawyers involved should be disbarred.
