Our neighbors to the north are still honking for freedom. In Ottawa, the army of truckers protesting the vaccine mandate pushed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is driving liberals insane. There are reports of violence breaking out. I’m obliged not to believe them. This is the media that lies, folks. The CBC even suggested that this freedom convoy was a Russian intelligence operation. Sorry—no, not believing the manufactured garbage that this anti-mandate protest is something worse than what we saw during the summer of 2020 in the United States where armed leftists burned and looted cities across the country. It is different in that the freedom fighters in Canada are doing none of those things. It’s an actual peaceful protest.
Shocker, it can be done without setting buildings ablaze and robbing everyone blind.
The mayor of Ottawa tossed out the possibility of getting the Canadian Armed Forces to clear out the protesters, which is insane. It speaks to the heart of this mandate nonsense. In the mind of the left-winger, truckers who refused to be jabbed for a virus with a 99-plus percent survival rate are the insane ones but using the military in a martial law exercise to ensure compliance is totally rational. The Military publicly STATED their refusal.
But politely. Similar to the way the tow truck operators declined to get involved with dispersal.
Sad to say that today the maple leaf flies higher for freedom than the stars and stripes does.
I wonder how long we would hold out under such conditions? A lot of these guys up there came prepared to stay.

Yup the Canadian Ministry of Defense issued a statement they will not get involved.

Right, the same operatives who were behind the Hunter Biden laptop “misinformation” campaign, presumably. And helping Trump steal the 2016 election from Hillary. Always Russia. Except when they were communist totalitarians. Back then, the Left made excuses for them.
His brown shirts (police) are already trying to starve/feeze them out.
You can’t force Truckers to deliver goods to FACIST cities.
In the U.S., the police would crack the heads of the protesters and the government would harass anyone involved -- down to those who donated money to support them -- for the rest of their lives.
Jobs lost, trucks confiscated, bank accounts frozen, children removed, social media banishment . . .
I'm paying the price for my principles. However, I will not back down.
If the Canadian LEOs would show as much common sense that leaves only the politicians.
The politicians could end this by tomorrow but that would mean they would no longer have their addictive authoritah!

Well, that’s a start. Next the CBC should round up a bunch of fake scientists who will declare that the convoy will cause the polar caps to melt. Then all those cute polar bears will die.
What is insane is the government’s response.
The government (and by extension the media and big tech) have lost the argument. The people want all this stuff to end and any agency or individual that keeps it up will eventually pay a political price.
The police are beginning to harass the freedom convoy. Freedom organizers should escalate and call for a national strike until their demands are met.
Excellent. I made a poor comparison on another thread comparing the protest in Canada having similarities to Tianenmen Square in China years ago. I tend to overthink thing sometimes (an understatement)!
