A study finds that suspects in violent crime in the District share a lot of characteristics.
The National Institute for Criminal Justice Reform looked at the numbers for homicides and nonfatal shooting in D.C. in 2019 and 2020, and found that “most gun violence is tightly concentrated on a small number of very high-risk young Black male adults that share a common set of risk factors.”
Those factors include involvements in street crews, a previous criminal justice history and connection to a recent shooting. Often, they’ve been the victims of crime themselves. While the motive for the shooting “may not be a traditional gang war,” the report says, “often shootings are precipitated by a petty conflict over a young woman, a simple argument, or the now-ubiquitous social media slight.”
The homicide rate in D.C. rose by 18% in 2020 compared to 2019, the study found, and about 500 identifiable people are behind 70% of the 863 incidents involving gun violence. The studies also showed that about 200 people are driving a majority of these incidents at any one point in time.

Of course, but no one is ever supposed to mention that fact. It’s because a certain tribe of people have fashioned their whole lives around drug use, crime and murder.

Well then, just round up the usual suspects and the problem is solved.

It was said maybe fifty five years ago that if a policeman could arrest maybe 90 people in a large city he could stop most of the crime there.
I wonder how large the grant for this study was? I want a grant like that. I want to study why the sun rises in the east.

The other day on The Five Geraldo riviera actually had a moment of clarity, when the discussion went to Asians being attacked in NYC he came out and said blacks have declared open season on Asians and everyone’s afraid to say it....I almost fell off the couch in shock.
I always thought it was police killing black folks...
Black males 16-35 are about 2.2% of the population, responsible for >50% of violent crime.

In other words, just keep throwing money at these think tanks to study the problem.
I serve on my church’s prison ministry....blacks are far and away the majority in the institutions I go into.
But some people actually believe many blacks aren’t here just fortunate reason....because they arex black.
Don’t think so.
