The offer I read was that Zelensky was willing to give up membership in NATO But wanted to be able to get bilateral or multilateral security guarantees instead. The Russians turned it down.

I can't help but recall any number of incidents back in the 1980s, where prominent Democrats made private council with Yuri Andropov, Leonid Brezhnev, and Mikhail Gorbachev against the policies of President Reagan. Names I remember are Senator Edward Kennedy and Senator John Kerry, but I'm certain there were others.
In addition, I remember these Senators giving aid and comfort to Manuel Noriega during the Reagan Administration.
I also recall Jimmy Carter helping Kim Jong Il of North Korea resist the policies of George Bush and others.
Surely if Tucker Carlson is committing "treason" by exercising his right to free speech, those Democrat politicians are also.

Look where we’re at. They are negotiating and if what you say is correct, they are making rapid progress. I’ve thought Zelenskyy would see the array of Russian weaponry about to be unleashed upon him (yes, the Russians have been holding back) and would get this done. What I think is driving both sides to agree is the specter of Western media, NWO provoked general warfare, Stalinizing all of Ukraine, Belarus and large chunks of Russia and Poland. Look what EVERYONE in DC wants to do. American NATO aircraft in Ukraine. What will that look like? Warthogs over Russian tank columns? Gunships for Russian infantry? That’s why Putin and Zelenskyy had better be in a hurry.
