Pa. Supreme Court rejects legal challenges to state’s new legislative maps

His commission’s work vindicated hours earlier by judges of the state’s highest court on both sides of the aisle, University of Pittsburgh chancellor emeritus Mark Nordenberg said Wednesday evening that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s unanimous decision to uphold the newly drawn state legislative maps — the work of his reapportionment commission — made for a “very satisfying moment.”

In an exclusive interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Mr. Nordenberg, chair of the Legislative Reapportionment Commission, said after an “intense and grueling process” that included 10 months of work and a touch of partisan fury over the results, he hopes his commission’s legacy will be one that’s shared by many team members.

“I would like this effort to be remembered as one that involved a lot of hard work, with a never-shifting focus on developing a plan that would be fair for the people of Pennsylvania,” Mr. Nordenberg said, “and that while no map is perfect, this map really did achieve that goal.”

The PA Supreme Court is a corrupt and partisan Demonrat majority body that illegally stole 5 Republican U.S. House seats all because they “didn’t like” that the GOP had a majority of the delegation. They should’ve been impeached for that. Add to that their role in the 2020 theft in the state. Absolutely criminal and treasonous.

Why bother with elections? The constitution isn’t really fair. 😢

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Step two is realizing the 21st century US has more in common with the old USSR than a Norman Rockwell painting.

It may effectively preserve some form of “order”, but it is no friend to the individual or the will of the people.

“So an academic is drawing the lines and not the legislature??”

Don’t worry, the PA legislature will draw the maps NEXT time — because the maps implemented by Democrats (bypassing that pesky Republican legislature) THIS time will ensure future Democrat control of the state legislature, which means there won’t be any need for the corrupt Democrat-controlled PA Supreme Court to get involved.

So the whole process will be much smoother next time around.

The PA Supreme Court is a rogue court stacked full of partisan Democrat Party hacks.

Pennsylvania has taken the lead from Louisiana as the most corrupt state in the nation, and has been for some time now.

The State legislative map was drawn by a commission, not the legislature, just as it has been for a while in PA.

The new State House map is still 102-101 GOP advantage and the new State Senate map is still 26-24 GOP advantage. Most of the highly competitive seats on the Senate side favor the GOP more than the Democrats as well.

The Democrats are going to redraw every map by November to guarantee a rat victory.

To be specific about the State Senate map:

The new Senate map has 15 strongly Democrat seats, one more than in the current map, and 21 strongly Republican seats, up from 19.

Of the more competitive seats, there would be nine that lean Democratic, instead of the current 10, and five that lean Republican, instead of the current seven.

So the State Senate map is actually very favorable to the GOP.

No they aren’t.

Redistricting is almost done. The net changes have been negligible.

Yep.

1. Cheat like hell to steal an election.

2. “Elect” a Secretary of State and Attorney General who will not investigate or prosecute election fraud.

3. Appoint judges who “fortify” the process.

4. Remove constitutional prerogatives of legislatures to draw legislative maps.

5. Voila!

I think the Dems based their districting based on race, believing that all blacks are Democrats.

I am not sure that is true any more.

But Pittsburgh is still Democrat, I’ll never know why...

“Republicans is for the rich people,

Democrats is fer da workin’ man.”

Absurd ancient philosophy.

That is pretty much what my take is: That the writers (publicists for these district boundaries) are oh-so-very-careful NOT to identify race nor party of the ones celebrating the loss of republican seats tells me exactly “who won” and “who lost”.

The PA supreme court is probably the most corrupt in the land. They actually Broke the law and ignored the voting laws written by the legislature. The allowed massive vote fraud. Most of those judges should be hauled out in cuffs and taken to prison.
