Nikole Hannah-Jones, 1619 Project creator and professor, said Wednesday on the CNN+ show “Who’s Talking” that parents were wrong when they complained about her work claiming America was founded as a racist country.
Wallace said, “What’s your response when people say that you’re saying the country’s racist and that this is a central part and making us feel, making them, kids, feel bad about it. Are you saying parents are wrong?”

Nope
Through the warped, blurry lenses of liberal socialists, everything not socialist was founded as a racist sexist whatever.
She needs to go fix Zimbabwe and then get back to us.
Oh, look! No waiting at the Kenyan Airlines counter.
OK!! MOVE BACK TO AFRICA AND BE HAPPY!!
These people are just not just putting Martin Luther King to the back of the bus but under the bus.
Divide and conquer has worked well in the past to destroy freedom.
We lose our morality, we lose this country. The Founding Fathers warned us.
1619 Project creator, meaning she’s made the whole thing up. She is not a Historian. She is a fabulist.
It’s tragic that so many people hate the United States and do whatever they can to tear it down, destroy it and change history.
How, then, were there millionaires in the 1800s that were black?
Nikole has to refute the books that have been published refuting her thesis first.
She can’t open her yap until then.
You notice she’s been hard at work on this? /giggle
The word racism and racist was invented about 100 years ago.
It is impossible for a country to be founded on a concept that did not yet exist.
No one alive today has any responsibility for what happened 150 years ago. Lay off our kids.
Those obsessed with race are racist.
The US was not “founded as a racist country.” Was there racism in the country when it was founded? Yes. But it was not “founded as a racist country” - that’s just nonsense. It inherited evils and vices that were ubiquitous the world over at the time of its founding that it did not create and was not “founded as” and in fact it was a source of conflict at the time of the founding. It’s just ignorance (or dishonest) to suggest otherwise.
It was founded as the opposite.
Martin Luther King among others pointed that out.
People were racist and acted on it, but U.S. values and it’s foundational principles were at odds with it.
Interestingly she kind of backed away from media after her history was shown to be fraudulent. Now she’s back and digging in. Wonder what her angle is? Hmmm...
She is wrong but the racist gig pays well.
Whatever. Hannah-Jones can go bark at the moon.
On second thought, I heartily recommend she urge the rats to run on a 1619, Tanned Rested & Ready Platform.
She needs to cite her references. I can surely cite mine to the contrary.
