Russia attack on train station in eastern Kramatorsk leaves dozens dead

Russian troops attacked a rail station in Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine Friday morning, leaving more than 39 dead and more than 100 hurt, local officials said. The station was being used by civilians trying to evacuate and is the latest evidence that Russians are deliberately targeting civilians.

At least 50 people, including 5 children, have been killed Friday in an attack by the Russian military on a train station in Kramatorsk, the area's regional governor says.

These are people from western Donbas. They are pro-Ukraine, not pro-Russia. Donbas is roughly 60% Ukrainian, only 40% Russian.

Yes, it was a Ukrainian missile indeed. However identifying any missiles at this date is a fruitless endeavor since so many arms, missile launchers etc have been left and confiscated on the ground there's no telling who's firing what.

The Kremlin was quick to respond, rejecting the allegations that it even fired missiles or artillery on the train station or in that direction. The surprising complete denial that its forces were at all operating against Kramatorsk was coupled with an accusation that it was a “provocation”, with the full Kremlin statement as follows:

“All the statements of representatives of the Kyiv nationalist regime about the alleged ‘missile attack’ by Russia on April 8 at the railway station in Kramatorsk are a provocation and absolutely do not correspond to reality,” the statement said.

“On April 8, the Russian armed forces did not conduct or plan any artillery fires in the city of Kramatorsk.

“We emphasize that the Tochka-U tactical missiles, the wreckage of which was found near the Kramatorsk railway station and published by eyewitnesses, are used only by the Ukrainian armed forces.”

So it appears Moscow is alleging another false flag, similar to the recent back-and-forth between Russia and the West surrounding the events at Bucha.

If you read the article, the only provided support for the idea that the Russians did this missile attack, was “ local officials said”.

But the title asserts this is known for sure, because they have no journalistic integrity whatsoever, and freepers in this thread believe it absolutely because... well why are they so sure of it exactly?

Frankly at this junction it’s almost a waste of time debunking this stuff. ....First, it will be amplified all over the US and Eu press and once in the minds of the brainwashed there is no erasing it. ....Second, the people debunking it have been canceled out of the mainstream media so nothing that is said will have the slightest impact.

Will we miss the old days where you could read well documented comments for hours on end without coming across simplistic uninformed and deformed views on geopolitics? .....I’m not talking about being closed to divergent opinions, rather about being flooded with parrots of mainstream media.
