FiveThirtyEight’s Nate Silver said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that he was not “buying” former Gov. Sarah Palin’s political comeback bid for her state’s sole seat on the U.S. House of Representatives.
Anchor Jon Karl said, “Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is attempting a political comeback nearly 14 years after Sen. John McCain made her the Republican Party’s first female candidate for vice president. She’s running for Alaska’s lone House seat following the death of longtime Congressman Don Young. She’s aiming low in the house race. Wishful thinking on Silver’s part. Those shows have to be positive and skeptical at the same time so ABC chose a skeptic. It’s fair.
He doesn’t exactly have the best track record so it makes little sense he continues to be consulted.
Although Palin’s low popularity in Alaska will be a factor especially given the new RCV system. As with all things like this “time will tell”. She almost certainly will be one of the top 4 in the jungle primary.

One thing she has on all the other candidates...
She’s very well known. There’s a ton running (50?), and most are unknown outside their district or village.
And has a demonstrated record as a mayor and governor.
I think Sarah is “over”. I hope I’m wrong, but I think her ship has sailed. Withering attacks from the fake news MSM and stabs in the back from McCain and his people did her in.
Mssr. Silver does not and cannot even compose a portion of what I might dream. He does not have the love of country I have. Mssr. Silver has no contributable skills, apart from talking to a camera.
I live in the portion of Louisiana, that sent Mssr. Kennedy to the Senate. I believe that Ms. Palin would serve her state, and the nation well once she was elected.

1. Palin is a good-looking person
2. Palin has great political clothes sense
3. Palin has a proven history of working rooms to advantage
4. Palin has the best name recognition in the state
5. Palin has a history of heroic stands for populist values
It’s hard to imagine why Nate Silver or any other political commentator would not see her a a formidable (perhaps dominant) candidate.
Game changer is the Trump endorsement. Did you
see his 30 for 30 Texas results? And not all of
them are as well known, funded, have her experience
and Nobody gives a crap what the lying media says.
MSM lied about Russia, and was out to get Sarah too.

I will always love Sarah, but the local family scandals might be too great a hurtle.
