Many FReepers smelled a trap from the get go and cautioned against going to the rally. Sorry, but the evidence proved we correct.

And the never trumpers are out in force to accompany the latest Trump is past his prime, or we need another candidate article............

PATHETIC.

Donald J. Trump is human. He isn’t anything more and doesn’t control everything. Maybe, just maybe considering the corruption levels in PA, this was the BEST candidate the state was able at this time to put forth with an actual SHOT OF WINNING. Ergo the endorsement. Just a thought to ponder if you are capable beyond your hatred for President Trump.

My guess is the lack of media attention maybe having an effect among some. The important thing is the media is trying to prop an internal battle. The midterms are 7 months away. We must keep our focus there not on the presidential 2+ years away. We must do two things: get rid of the RINOs we can and take back both houses. Taking advice from the lefty media is akin to asking your competitor for his weaknesses.

I'm still wondering how we could have walked into that trap on Jan. 6, especially after the leftists had pulled that on us several times in city demonstrations.

Jan 6 was a setup by the feds to entice innocent citizens to walk into the Capitol Building, after the police opened the doors and the paid instigators heated up the crowd.

There is still the fact of an ex military woman being murdered by a cop, but since she was a white conservative, and he was a black communist, no problem, no follow on riots, not even a real investigation.

I stopped looking for real justice a long time ago.

Dislike OZ? Then put your money where your mouth is and donate to his opponent.

What happens when DeSantis endorses some establishment GOP nitwit like Oz?

Yeah. I don’t think his base is shrinking, we’re just too angry and frustrated to go to a rally right now. If he runs in 2024 I will be right there.

My sister and BIL almost attended on Jan. 6. Then they got a hinky feeling and decided not to.

Several men from my cousin’s church in Albany went, but had to leave the rally a few minutes before it ended. As they walked to their van, they passed people walking inTO the area.

They commented to each other that “There’s going to be trouble.” They all felt the presence of evil clearly.

One is forgiveable. A handful is understandable. But Trump has done this too many times for me to just bend over and accept.

Don't forget, Trump endorsed Romney for Senate and we all took that one up the pooper.

Dr Oz is another Romney when there are far better candidates available. Trump is picking the front-runner in hopes he can brag about the power of his endorsements.....which is not the purpose of an endorsement.

Trump rarely endorses anyone based on politics. He endorses candidates who he perceives as winners. I'm sure that's exactly what is at work here. Pushing a MAGA candidate who is polling at 8% is an amateurish way to work in a political environment.

I live in PA, and I wouldn't dismiss Oz out of hand because I know statewide elections here are decided by dingbat suburban women. A dope like Oz will play well with that crowd.

“As usual, I believe Rush was right.”

Very correct and if Trump continues to back up Kevin McCarthy and a few others like Sen. Boozman, more people will stay home.

#1: He’s doing too many rallies and saturating people with his presence. When you do that, you cease to be special. I would expect attendances to decrease. He should hold off on that tactic until HE himself is the candidate.

#2. Oz? This could be the beginning of the end for him. Truly a terrible endorsement. Discernment issues.

“Very correct and if Trump continues to back up Kevin McCarthy and a few others like Sen. Boozman, more people will stay home.”

I specifically remember Trump saying something like: “It won’t be easy, but I’m sure that I can bring my people to support Amnesty for DACA’s.”

I think Trump believed/believes the media that his supporters are in love with the man, rather than the movement. The problem is that’s never the case on our side (nor should it be), it is always the MOVEMENT first, and then the man.

On the Democrat side, it is sometimes different - as in the case of Obama, it was the man, and the movement was secondary. For Skunk Cabbage and Biden it was the opposite, movement first.
