“Joe’s constituency will not try to push foreign aid and famine relief assistance to other countries.”
Unfortunately, they will.
Western governments will put FURTHER purchase pressure on depleted worldwide stocks, driving prices even higher. This to fight famine in the 3rd world.
Virtue signalling do-gooders.
Ultimately it is the Western world that will pay the worldwide price increases. The western consumer.
We will have to consume far less for there to be enough to go around. Meat, eggs and dairy will be unreachable by most folks soon.
Get used to beans and biscuits. Good food, no doubt.

Yummy! Grass fed milk is yummy too. It depends on the grass and soil conditions where the grass is grown.

I have never heard of a successful civilization that burned its food for fuel.
And on top of all the food issues.... THIS is the move? Why, if I didn’t know any better, I’d start to believe all these Machevellian, America-destroying initiatives are on purpose.

The moonstruck masses don't see the rug being yanked out from under their feet with the great big, deep hole in the floor.

Well, we need to wait till after the midterms and Republicans take the House. Then, we get rid of both Biden and Kamala so the new Republican Speaker of the House will be installed as POTUS.

Great. Let’s burn more food.
To: NautiNurse
The more ethanol that's in the blend, the worse the gas mileage you typically get.
Our government is run by fools and lunatics.

Most engines are not designed for it.
Mileage drops way down meaning you use more fuel.
Farmers use more fuel to produce the corn.
Energy required to convert corn to ethanol.
Less food for people and livestock.
What could go wrong?

And I forgot. Stored ethanol fuel does not last. It goes putrid, collects moisture and damages engines and fuel systems. Not to mention that bad fuel has to be disposed of.

I only use corn-free gasoline. Absolutely. Corn gasoline gums up the engine.
Make Cornflakes NOT corn-gas.

It’s just like saying let’s all drive electric cars. Electricity is magic and appears out of thin air!
I'm trying to find the study that estimates the amount of Lithium that will have to be mined to make the necessary Lithium-Ion batteries (present tech) for 100's of Millions of EV's. Also, estimate the number of lithium fires per year and disposal of used batteries. If anyone has a reference I'd appreciate some help. Thanks.
