I would add the cost of relocation to the law suit.

If we don’t start acting like the adult in the room and the parent who is willing to punish then we just as well hang it up.

It happens all the time. A court can issue a judgement, but getting the judgement paid is an entirely different issue.

Oberlin College is one sneaky liberal college.

Years ago they sent a community survey here to my historic college town. At first I started to complete it as the first few questions seemed community based concerns. But the second section started yammering on about a walking only area in our downtown, cars, etc.

I stopped completing the questionnaire and called the phone number on the form. It was for Oberlin College psychology department! Not a city planning department, not our own historic college...but Oberlin psychology department.

Our city has a conservative mayor and I called his office. He was unaware of the “survey.” The city sent out a ‘blast’ to notify residents to throw the survey out as it was not authorized by the city planning commission.

Oberlin College is as progressive as they come and highly activist in nature.

So why has Oberlin refusing to pay? Have they filed another appeal?

The Gibsons are victims and that area doesn't deserve such a fine bakery. They should move to an area with better clientele.

And the $33m should double every 10 days if not paid.

The Rule of Law has been superseded by the Law of the Jungle.

I’m very surprised the Bakery is still active at that location. It may be more practical simply to move and operate elsewhere.

I agree. Hope they move to another town that will support them. Before this stupidity, they were supplying the college with bread, cakes and rolls, but of course the college cut all that off. I wish an alumnus (such as Michelle Malkin) would organize a GoFundMe among alums, who can donate to Gibson's instead of Oberlin, to tide them over.

Yep, take the judgement and get your Writ of Execution.. then take that to the Sheriff, and enjoy the sheriff’s department helping to confiscate and sell the colleges assets to satisfy the lean... (Process may vary by state, but that’s the gist of how you do it)...

Minute they said they weren’t going to pay I would have had my lawyers working on the writ.. and yes, you can lean and take their land and buildings as well

That is a wonderful idea, to organize a fund for the Bakery.
Of course, it’s very likely that you would not be allowed to use GoFundMe, since it would benefit a Not PC Approved cause.
I’ve seen them cancel before whenever the beneficiaries were in any way related to a conservative mindset.
Sad? Unfair? Myopic? Yes, yes, and yes, but still legal.

Then there are the other kinds of PC funds, that will decide on their own not to pay out what you have collected. The new trend is for these funders to keep your money and donate it to an organization of their choice, not yours. I don’t think that’s yet legal. It happened to the Truckers in Canada.

You're right, lee martell. The Christian-friendly site is GiveSendGo.
