As I was getting in my car, at the supermarket the other day, I noticed a lone woman in the car parked next to me with her mask on. She kept lowering her mask to take a sip of her drink. Up and own the make went.
Fast forward to the 2020 Christmas Season: We were able to increase the number of people to 50, masks became optional, AND we had a big Christmas potluck. Nobody got sick. Oh, and we've had quite a few potlucks since - everybody is healthy.
Apparently, when United and SW and a few smaller airlines okayed the No Mask Mandate, many of the other airlines joined the No Mask required herd.
I ran a weeklong youth camp in 2020. We bought a bunch of neck gaiters which no one ever really wore.
We had a conversation where we suggested the kids social distance. I guess 50 boys in a Gaga ball pit is socially distanced right?
We had a huge covid outbreak of zero.
I still see a fully masked obedient slave driving alone occasionally. Wear those masks. “Experts say.”
Maskholes.
“Fully vaccinated adults are still wearing masks on their solitary walks outdoors...”
Yep. I see that all the time here in So. Cal. Then there are also those idiots wearing masks while driving alone in their car with the windows up.
I look at both those types, smdh and ask myself “da fuq are they thinking?”.
I call them all “mask-tards”.
My roommate Mr K - not the one on this forum - has to wear a mask on a regular basis, especially when doing demolition on older buildings. It’s probably one of the reasons he’s still alive today.
But wow, did he ever hate having to wear one every day on the job for almost two years! LOL I kept saying, “Dude, I would LOVE to go around wearing a mask all the time at work!” and he just didn’t laugh at all. What a sorehead.
Please ping me/post AA’s stance re masks when you fly.
Thanks.
Ridiculous!
There are so many outdoor opportunities nowadays that G.S. no longer has a monopoly. 4H has great summer camps, but I don’t know if they require masks. Also, many church groups sponsor camps.
How about a grand oldtime unstructured summer...no camp...just letting kids be themselves?
Oh, those long lazy days of bikeriding, pickup baseball games, fishing in the pond, swimming in the creek, etc.
