It seems Col. Macgregor has not been very accurate.
Notice: Macgregor did not say "Mariupol". He said "Eastern Ukraine".

Zelensky should start his own Go Fund Me and leave our tax money alone.

Even if the Ukrainians aren’t winning this war and even if they lose, the Russians will not have ‘won’.
Russia was/is a third world country, economically, and they will be less than a third world economy after the war. So, who will have ‘won’?

Ukraine’s victory is that they have not yet been defeated. That Russia did not collapse them in 3 days !
Certainly Ukraine has managed to get both wings of the Northern attack on Kyev removed. That was simply an amazing feat on their part. Not sure how they accomplished that one.
The Ukrainians have also have managed to keep the Russians away from Odessa so far. That is pretty amazing too.
They have managed to post the Russian noses a good bit with heavy tank and ship losses.
They have even managed to make some small attacks back into Russia.
But….
Russia continues to pound the Ukraine with missiles and artillery.
Russia continues to occupy territory deep into the Ukraine.
Must we really watch 100 minutes of this droplets drivel?
Great and Glorious Republic of Russiastan's latest offensive seems stalled, as temporary tactical advances get bogged down and are unable to protect their rear and Ukrainians defeat in detail. The Ukrainains have had eight years to fortify the East, and now they are getting a lot more heavy weaponry, including tanks. Will they hold? I don't know, but I wouldn't bet against it.
Loads of silly Americans would be pouring their life savings into it.
