Nick Quested, the Democrat’s star witness for the January 6 Committee’s first primetime public hearing, claimed that “someone in authority left the door open” at the U.S. Capitol.
Quested is a British filmmaker who followed the Proud Boys in the days leading up to and on January 6, 2021. Quested confirmed reports that the January 6 Committee would call him to testify as a witness during the committee’s first of six primetime televised hearings.

i watched the video of guards escorting the crowds of people outside, up to the door, open the doors, and hold the doors while people funnel in.
multiple doors were opened to let people in.
once inside, most people stayed within the velvet ropes.

Clearly Donald Trump snuck down there and opened the door. They have him now….
I was watching very closely in real time. There was an orderly line of people outside. I policeman slowly opened the big door and without alarm or fanfare, motioned for people to enter the building in a line. And that is what they did. It was a very orderly procession going inside. Nothing at all like the claim people were storming the gates. Just plain folks, some with well-behaved children. There was no insurrection. What the Black Lives Matter and antifa characters do IS insurrection. No insurrection on Jan. 6, 2020.
