The agreement also establishes a more rigorous background check process for people aged 18 to 21, with enhanced review that includes contacting state and local law enforcement for criminal records that could be disqualifying, and to appropriate state organizations for mental health information that could impact the decision.

...The final bill hasn’t been written yet...

So the ten Assistant Democrat traitors signed a blank check.

I wonder how much they got paid?

The final bill hasn't been written yet, but 10 RINOs have signed on.

Just let that sink in for a bit...

Hallelujah!!! We are saved from “gun violence.” New laws always do the trick. The last 9,999 laws failed, but GUN LAW #10,000 is the magic bullet (so to speak). Trust me on this.

If you are in Congress, you have three levers to pull — pass more laws, ban things, or spend money. Sometimes they do all three at once. And 99% of the time the things they do make the original problem far worse.

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, a firm Second Amendment advocate

Yeah, keep repeating that lie. Cornyn's political career needs die an ugly death with every other Republican that does not understand what 'shall no infringe' means.

Any Republican that doesn't stand for the full repeal of ALL weapons related laws needs to be drummed out of the party. Full repeal is the beginning and ending of all negotiations.

No bans in this bill at all (at least from what I Saw), and that red flag law will get struck down. Let the dems think they got a win on this one.. lol.

More

Protections for victims of domestic violence: Convicted domestic violence abusers and individuals subject to domestic violence restraining orders will be included in NICS.

https://www.axios.com/2022/06/12/senators-reach-gun-safety-deal

Really bad idea. In some states, if one spouse calls 911 for a domestic issue, one or both parties are getting charged. This will put millions in NICS.

That headline is misleading. I read the article looking for information on where to get the gun package, what’s included, what’s the price and is there a limit per day per customer. Oh boy, was I disappointed.

including “red flag” laws

Will there be imprisonment and heavy fines for private individuals or government employees who petition for the "red flags" in error or bad faith?

“Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, a firm Second Amendment advocate who has promised the new measures won’t impact the gun rights of law-abiding Americans”

Wit until the bill is passed to see if this is true.

“Negotiated.” There will be absolutely nothing in this bill that benefits gun owners. These guys are great “negotiators.”

Unless it includes increased funding for cops, armed guards in the schools, additional safety for kids and teachers, throwing INSANE and drug-addled young men into mental health centers the FIRST time a teacher or parent asks and no more of this ‘Gun Free Zone’ BS, I, for one, ain’t buying what they’re trying to sell me!

Don’t look for this to accomplish anything, whether passed and signed into law or not.

You can practically guarantee that the Democrats will lace this bill with poison before it comes to a vote. They do it every time.
