During Tuesday’s “Mornings with Maria” on Fox Business Network, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) called on conservatives heading into the midterm election to not govern as Democrats.
Boebert highlighted the Democrats’ “failed policies” and said the GOP could retake the House and Senate if they did not start “acting like Democrats.”
She continued, “It is difficult to find work. It is difficult to find employees. It is hard to put food on the table and even arrive at your job paying over $5 a gallon for gas. Maria, we’ve all seen the poll numbers, and Democrats, Republicans and independents aren’t happy with how the country is being run. And they see the damage that Biden has caused, and they want change. And the only way Republicans can mess this up is if we start acting like Democrats. So, that is why in the House Freedom Caucus, we fully intend to make sure whoever is leading the GOP does what they promised. We cannot run as conservatives and govern as Democrats. Conservative policies work, and we Republicans need to govern that way.”

That’s why Trump should be made Speaker of the House after this Midterm, and then run for POTUS in 24, putting Speaker mantle on a trusted Congressperson. Margery Taylor Green for example. The Senate is hopeless as long as Mitch remains.

Though he’s probably learned his lesson on how to be extremely careful about whom he can trust, I do not think he knows the true depth and machinations of the swamp. I don’t think anyone except the corrupt swamp dwellers knows. Those people are so dirty, I think he’d be shocked. And they wouldn’t work with him anyway. The worst ones are the RINOS; I bet they’d cheat and screw their own mothers. They certainly have no compunction doing dirt to us. It’s all about the love of money. The more power they have, the more money they get. Power is a drug, but so is the lust for money.

it’s up to republican and independent voters really.
there have been 4 populist conservative waves in my lifetime. all have been rebuffed to greater or lesser extents by the uniparty/GOPe so far by gaslighting their own voters.
1. the great RR was the first. (and although i knew little of his rise back then) his conservative movement goes way back to his own conversion from dem to republican, Goldwater, GE and his leadership of SAG in a Hollywood that at least produced a generally conservative product in line with American values back in the day.)
2. the ‘mad man’ Perot was the second. that was the first time i was amazed at how easily the American voter could be manipulated by the media and the uniparty.
3. the tea party started in 2009 was the third (when i really got involved actively in politics).
4. and the Miracle of Trump was the fourth.
so far they’ve returned to the squishy lukewarm vomit like the bushies, the boehners and the mcconnells and co. TX, AL, GA, CO were largely disappointing, to me, this year. i guess we’ll see if republicans will elect more patriots as the year goes on.
Guess this shows the naivete of a first term Republican rep who hasn't yet been assimilated into the system...
This is not to imply that she will -- I pray that she stays true to this statement, and has many others just like her join in.
