New San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins is speaking out after someone recorded her first meeting with senior staffers last Friday without her permission.

SFGATE first reported on what was said in that meeting, which was described as "icy" by attendees. On Wednesday, the San Francisco Examiner published a story with direct quotes Jenkins used in the meeting thanks to "a recording of the meeting obtained by The Examiner."

Under California law, it is generally illegal to record a private conversation unless all parties present give consent. Jenkins, who was appointed by Mayor London Breed to replace the recalled Chesa Boudin, called the fact she was recorded "disturbing."

Also known as the Corrupt-Politician Protection Act.

I’m not sure if the law is even enforced.

Anyone in that office who supported the communist loving son of domestic terrorists should have already been fired.

Time will tell if she is as radical as the ousted Boudin. This recall in such a liberal place should be a shot across the bow, so to speak, that even liberal minded voters want some minimal level of law and order.

Some staffers also say they were irked by the fact that it took Jenkins six days to send an email to the entire staff introducing herself,

This is this, not much about what was said at the meeting?

She is not as radical as him. Mayor Breed never liked Boudin and didn’t support him. She picked Brooke Jenkins, who was considered the most opposite of Boudin. Jenkins had publicly bashed Boudin, and Boudin’s people in the office hate her.

“I’m not sure if the law is even enforced.”

It is selectively enforced by Democrats against their political enemies.

They enforced it against the Center for Medical Progress when they recorded Planned Parenthood selling aborted baby body parts.

Hopefully they can turn this city around

Boudin is a sliver-tongued slithering snake. “Release from employment”? I think the common word is “fired”.

Her staff is largely putrid leftovers from the recalled District Turd-torney. I just read in a more recent post that she fired a good number of their felon-kissing *sses. Betcha one of those turd-eaters did the recording and leaked it. (However, I think that the Rats considered the anti-recording law to be needed in CA because virtually every conversation by Democrats is by definition a crime, and they didn’t want audio records.)

Straight out of the Marxist Rulebook: Make just about everything illegal and then selectively enforce the law.

Also, if everything is political, then don’t expect professionalism.

Once upon a time Hitlery Clinton was fired by Democrats for lying, etc. Then later the powers that be supported her.

Yep. Secret recordings exposing evil capitalists are hard-hitting journalism and protected by the first amendment. Secret recordings of abortionists selling baby body parts to fund new Lamborghinis are subject to the full force of the law.

“I’m not sure if the law is even enforced.”

It will be enforced against anyone who (1) violates it and (2) Challenges the Ruling Class narrative or damages a Democrat.
