The Florida estate of the late conservative radio legend Rush Limbaugh roughly 2.7-acre Palm Beach estate, with a roughly 24,000-square-foot main house, is set to hit the market with an asking price of $150 million to $175 million.
Limbaugh, who died in February 2021, has multiple structures on Palm Beach's North Ocean Boulevard, in an area and a state that has seen many migrate during the pandemic.
The estate includes about 250 feet of oceanfront property that leads straight on to the beach.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom Winner's widow, Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, is in charge of selling the property.
The couple owns two homes that are connected to the main estate, which the radio host bought for about $3.9 million in 1998 and which has been part of the skyrocketing price for the entire area.
Real estate has exploded in the Palm Beach area since the beginning of the pandemic, with sales totaling tens and hundreds of millions of dollars for the likes of Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
The main house has seven bedrooms, a dozen bathrooms and a two-story library that can be fully accessed via an elevator.
The mansion also includes hundreds of feet of oceanfront property, as well as a pool and a putting green for golf.
Limbaugh, the radio icon and 'voice of American conservatism', died in February of 2021, aged 70,
He was diagnosed with Stage IV advanced lung cancer back in February 2020, hosted his last radio show on February 2 during which he revealed another host was on standby in case his health deteriorated.
'Well, my friends, that's it. Yet another excursion into broadcast excellence in the can. Enjoyed being with you today, always do. And look forward to the next time,' he said at the conclusion of the show.

Too bad Rush never used his voice and money to do anything substantial, politically speaking.
Unlike Clinton, Dorkbama, and Biden, Rush had a real job, had real talent, and actually EARNED his millions.

I’ll bet that house had a very elaborate and top of the line security system. Rush was one of the Lib’s main enemies for decades. He probably spared no expense trying to keep himself and his wife safe. That includes any parking garage where the cars would be left at night. He may have even had what is sometimes called a “Panic Room”; where you quietly go if you know an intruder has entered your home.
Could be lots of good reasons to sell. Florida is getting crowded. Maybe she needs to liquidate for some other reason. Some people believe a big housing crash is coming in the not-too-distant future. They don’t usually hit this level of property as much as others. Maybe it’s just too much for her and the memories embedded there. Time for a change of scenery.
Perhaps anticipating the reset crash and wanting to get ahead of it somehow.
Don’t forget Pelosi. I definitely want to s*** on her grave.

I'm re-married after my first wife went home in 2004 because of cancer and WE had the time to "have the talk" . . . . actually, many talks.
God was kind and she wasn't in pain (that we knew of) and she just breathed heavy for a few minutes (THAT was scarey) and went to sleep . . home.
Rush belongs to America and we support Katherine in whatever she desires.
