Ukraine war veterans on how Kiev plundered US aid, wasted soldiers, endangered civilians, and lost the war
The GrayZone ^ | 8/18/22 | LINDSEY SNELL AND CORY POPP

“Last month, Ukraine’s parliamentarians voted to give themselves a 70% salary increase. Filings indicate the raise was enabled and encouraged by the billions of dollars and euros of aid that have poured in from the US and Europe.”

“The weapons are stolen, the humanitarian aid is stolen, and we have no idea where the billions sent to this country have gone,” a Ukrainian complained to The Grayzone.

“Everyone is lying”: US doctor describes shocking corruption

Samantha Morris, a doctor from Maine, went to Ukraine in May to try to help provide medical training for soldiers. “The first time I crossed the border from Poland, I had to hide my medical supplies under mattresses and diapers to prevent them from being stolen,” she said. “The border guards on the Ukrainian side will just take things, and tell you, ‘we need this for our war,’ but then, they just steal the items and resell them. Honestly, if you don’t hand-deliver donations to the intended recipients, the items will never reach them.”

No surprise. Ukraine has always been the most corrupt perverted country in the world controlled by the most corrupt and perverted globalists from the US and across the globe.

Sure it is.

Meanwhile you and MM swear by media now as gospel even though that same has been vehemently eschewed here since Free Republic began and continues to be on any other issue

So who’s pushing propaganda really?

Question -

what percentage of Western-supplied weapons are pilfered?

and what percentage actually make it to the front?

Ukrainian officials are buying mansions in the EU with US taxpayer dollars that should be going to humanitarian aid.

And Jobama gets his 10%. That’s why he and his DC criminal cronies want to keep sending billions of US tax dollars to Ukraine

The Gayzone with Corn Popp.

I don’t doubt there are crooks all over Eastern Europe, but someone caused the munitions stored at the Saki airbase on Crimea’s western Black Sea coast to explode on August 16, 2022, munitions depot near the Russian village of Timonovo, the airbase at Saki, etc.

Just because Biden and the leftist crews nominally sides with Ukraine, doesn’t mean Ukraine is the bad actor.

It’s like Bill Clinton liking pretty women. Well, so do I. I’m not going to stop liking pretty women because Bill Clinton likes them.

No, it should be going to Americans. Let the Euroweenies sort it out. If they touch America, or our territories, then we can get involved. Until then, STAY OOUT and quit wasting our tax dollars on this.

yup , given the ukie corruption it would be more cost efficient to give the weapons to each side equally... the russians could actually pay for theirs with the giant cash infusion from Biden’s boomerang sanctions.

In addition to corruption I think there is another factor at work here. Western propaganda has portrayed Ukraine as heroically resisting naked Russian aggression, with no mention of the precursors to the war or pro-Russian sentiment among Ukrainians.

Thus the average American is ignorant of the Maidan coup, openly arranged and supported by the State Dept., CIA, etc., in 2014 that overthrew a pro-Russian government and furthered plans to join it to NATO and plant nuclear missile batteries on the Russian border. This led directly to the seizure of Crimea and the rebellion in the border region in response.

At the outset of the war the Western puppet regime banned the major opposition party in an attempt to crush pro-Russian sympathies. But those sympathies remain. I would not be surprised if a lot of the aid is being diverted due to many Ukrainians simply not wanting to be cannon fodder for Washington's war againt Russia.

At the end of all this they will still be neighbors with Moscow, not Washington. A defeat of Russia today by the West would solve nothing for Russia, leading in short order to another more desperate attempt to push back on Western aggression. The "boot on the neck" strategy of Western powers to render Russia impotent was another great strategic mistake, and will remain a source of instability until there is regime change in Washington.

“ Last month, Ukraine’s parliamentarians voted to give themselves a 70% salary increase”

Between the way the Ukrainian currency has been devalued, and the combat zone inflation they face, this could just be treading water, in terms of purchasing power.

But the Russian and Ukrainian economies are burning in for hard landings (depressions), but it is significantly worse for the Ukrainians.

Yes. Ukraine is very corrupt. Basically an open market for corruption and thieves. It’s expected. Everyone lies, cheats, and steals.

That’s why it’s so popular with corrupt US officials. You can do anything, get anything, get away with anything, as long as you bring bags of cash.

Perfect playground for the US State Department and CIA. No rules!
