NYPD video released Sunday shows a crook roughing up a diabled man in a wheelchair and stealing from him on a Staten Island bus earlier this month, police said.
The brazen robbery happened around 9 p.m. on Aug. 13 on the S40 MTA bus, cops said.
The thief stood up directly behind the 64-year-old victim, who was sitting in a wheelchair, and removed $250 cash from his shirt pocket as the bus stopped at Clinton Avenue and Richmond Terrace, cops said.

The elderly gentleman was fortunate he was not injured or worse.

I understand what you are saying.
However, the man in the wheelchair “stood up for himself” and did so quite well. He should be proud of fighting off the attacker; I know I’m proud of him. His confidence should be a little higher today than before.
Still, he was fortunate not to get hurt physically. The outlaw could have shot him.
They got the color right for the shirt, shorts, socks and sandals, but not for the perp.
I guess the media is OK with privileged members of certified victim groups attacking old White guys in a wheelchair.
It’s getting harder and harder to have any sympathy for these victims. Why do they continue to live in this leftist sh*thole of a city? I wouldn’t live anywhere like this where I was considered nothing more than prey by a sizeable segment of the population.
