MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said Thursday on his show “Morning Joe” that former President Donald Trump “should be indicted,” but it will set an “absolutely horrendous precedent.”
Wednesday on Fox News, former Attorney General Bill Barr said, “At the end of the day, there is another question. Do you indict a former president? What will that do to the country? What kind of precedent will it set?”
Scarborough said, “The government can indict Donald Trump. They have a case to indict Donald Trump. Then Barr asks the question that certainly won’t be popular among many watching this show, won’t be popular among many Democrats, but asks the question, should they indict him?”

Do you think all of this “Get Trump!” stuff is to establish a precedent to protect Joe from being indicted for corruption?
It is not going to stop Trump and it is only serving to stiffen the resolve of MAGA supported to support and vote for Trump in 2024 (and take the House in 2022).
And unlike Trump, those Democrat predecessors have a lot of 'there' there. You can bet your bottom dollar Scarborough is well aware of that.

Indicted and convicted are 2 different things. Indicting can have the same effect as the other as long as there is damage done. The left will always go for it.
What law did he break is it that he should be indicted on...now? Does Joe have info we dont?

Yep, with no trial, and no Congressional authorization. And it wasn’t even an “enemy combatant” in the traditional sense, it was a scholar who wrote things that interpreted Islam and the Quran in a way sympathetic to Al Qaeda and other Islamic fundamentalists. You couldn’t have gotten a death penalty conviction for that in civilian courts if he had been captured.
Maybe the new Republican House of Representatives should reopen investigations into that female employee in Congressman Scarborough’s office that turned up inexplicably DEAD.....
They are all saying this now. Even Hillary said he “should” be indicted, because “nobody’s above the law”, but we really need to look at the “facts” first. Tells me they have no case (which I knew) and it likley won’t happen (I pray).
