Former President Trump on Thursday said he “can’t imagine being indicted” over his handling of classified documents or a scheme to put forward alternate electors after the 2020 election, but that if he were, it would not deter him from a possible White House run in 2024.
“I can’t imagine being indicted. I’ve done nothing wrong,” Trump told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt.

“I can’t imagine being indicted. I’ve done nothing wrong,”
Imagine: Police State
“The Hill” quotes Hewitt, then proceeds to write a summary list reminding their uninformed readers of the propaganda behind indicating their enemy.
The Hill and its lefty BS artists can ESAD.
It won’t affect anything.
Some states will play the “we can’t have an indicted candidate on our ballot” but the people will just write Trump in. He’s got a nice easy write-in name.
Seriously? “Can’t imagine?” It’s going to happen. The only way that they can let Trump run without trying to arrest him is that everything is so far gone that they no longer care. We are getting to that point, but we aren’t there yet.
What does this say about ham sandwiches?
‘Some states will play the “we can’t have an indicted candidate on our ballot”...’
Which will lead to a lot of lawsuits and the Supreme Court will be either forced to slap the states down, or for the second election in a row appear to side with the coup plotters. Not a good spot for them to put themselves in.
Ever the plaigiarist, to “get Trump,” Biden borrows heavily from Melville’ paraphrasing Ahab:
“I’ll chase him round the moons of Nibia and round the Antares maelstrom and round perdition’s flames before I give him up!”
Ahab’s tirade at the end is Bidung verbatim with his final lines:
“To the last I grapple with thee; from Hell’s heart I stab at thee; for hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee.”
I thought that was Khan, in The Wrath of Khan.

It will also force them to count the ballots by hand, haha.
Also not a good play for them.
So I don’t see much advantage for the other side in an indictment. Other than the headline they want.
Khan references that as he dies.
Borrowed from Melville.
They will indict and then drag out the process of a “speedy trial” for 2 years.
When did Hewitt become a conservative?
Yes but Khan lifted it from Klingon Proverbs.
And it’s completely unpredictable what that headline will result in. The left assumes it would be to their advantage, but everyone on the left already hates Trump so it would do nothing to stir up their enthusiasm and probably not much to turn out more votes for them.
On the other hand, it would probably be highly motivating to everyone on the right to rally behind the unjustly targeted Trump. Even people on the right who don’t like Trump might be inclined to feel sympathy if he’s the victim of a political prosecution by the left.
Actually I did know that.
“ We are getting to that point, but we aren’t there yet.”
After Biden’s Hitleresque speech condemning all Trump supporters as “the other”, we may be closer than we realize.
If you can’t imagine, you don’t have an imagination.
