In a message to Giorgia Meloni, whose party the Brothers of Italy is expected to deliver the country’s first far-right-led government since the Second World War, the Prime Minister described the UK and Italy as “close allies”.
Ms Truss tweeted: “Congratulations to @GiorgiaMeloni on her party’s success in the Italian elections.
“From supporting Ukraine to addressing global economic challenges, the UK and Italy are close allies.”
Italy’s left wing has warned of “dark days” ahead as near-final results show Ms Meloni’s party has won the most votes in the country’s national elections.

By the way, I'm sick of this far right crap. Does the media ever say leftist or far left?🙄🙄
This is a very positive development.
The EU may soon disintegrate, after this winter of disastrous discontent.
There is no “right” only “far right”! Likewise, there is no “center” only “far right”! Every Conservative is far right. Every Liberal is pure as the driven snow!
They can’t help themselves, can they?
“First far-right government SINCE WWII”!
Thanks!
>> By the way, I’m sick of this far right crap.
I have learned to press into the labeling.
As in “Yep, that’s RIGHT, I’m really, really, really RIGHT. Always RIGHT. If you disagree with me what’s that make you?”
“Sure, I’m MAGA. Ultra MAGA in fact. Stands for ‘Make America Great Again’. What’s your motto, pal? ‘Let America Lose’?
This NUMBER THREE for Truss - I’ll have to start writing them down soon:
1. Goes all-in on Fracking
2. Don’t remember (something else energy related, maybe pro-nuclear)
3. Congratulates the new Euro-Sceptic leader in Italy
Off to a DAMN GOOD start.
Huh?
“get herself into trouble” from who?
Not to mention she actually said, and I quote, “the UK and Italy are close allies.”, which is true no matter what government is in power.
Meloni is a patriot standing up to evil forces. I bet Trump is really proud of her - he cast a stone on the water and the ripples are growing.
“Far right, far right, extreme right, right wing, far right...”
Ah Truss, the limey C-U-Next-Tuesday who verbally dissed indigenous white Englishmen and put third world guest worker descendants in their place. Maybe the new Italian government will have the balls to send the invaders back south of the Sahara unlike Truss.
Nope, she believes in affirmative action over indigenous Brits: https://www.timesofisrael.com/british-pm-liz-truss-makes-history-with-completely-non-white-top-team/amp/

Don’t get me wrong - part of my contract with Putin was having to drop my support of the UK government, so I don’t get any reward for singing her praises.
But having said that, I’ll still put priorities on the policies first, rather than the faces in her cabinet. For example, if she forces quotas on businesses like Brandon (but not Putin)*, I’ll give her demerits, but until then, she’s still good in my book.
*I send Putin my invoice at the end of each month. Squeezing him into my comments helps on the bottom line.
“...is expected to deliver the country’s first far-right-led government since the Second World War...”
95% of print reports on the election include this line in either the title or the 1st paragraph of their article.
Too bad it’s ABSOLUTELY FALSE.
RE: In a message to Giorgia Meloni, whose party the Brothers of Italy is expected to deliver the country’s first far-right-led government…
Can someone enlighten us as to what policies Giorgia Meloni advocates that makes her “Far Right”?
Almost every headline I read about her inevitably has this “Far Right” label attached to her name.
LOL!
“far-right-led government...” Give it up, losers. Catholics who support traditional families with a mother, father and numerous children are winning in Europe and America, since cities in Europe and America need one thing: children.
You’re going to love the fascist narrative.

How a party of neo-fascist roots won big in Italy
Ironically, they labeled now Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador as a "Far left" candidate (compared to the more mainstream "center-left" PRI)
Then López Obrador got in power and turned out to be far more reasonable and common sense than the so-called "conservative" PAN presidents EVER were.
