Pro-impeachment and 21-year incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) embraced another Democrat talking point over the weekend intended to divide the Republican Party from former President Donald Trump.
“I just want to make sure that our party doesn’t become a party of an individual,” she told the Wall Street Journal in an article titled “Lisa Murkowski Bets on Infrastructure to Keep Alaska Senate Seat, Deny Trump Revenge.”
Murkowski’s careful line of attack resembles the establishment media’s public relations campaign to frame Trump as a cult leader. Such claims, amplified by congressional Democrats, are unfounded. But that has not prevented the Republican senator from echoing her Democrat colleagues in Washington, DC.
Tim Murtaugh, Kelly Tshibaka’s adviser, told Breitbart News that Murkowski has bucked the majority Alaskan voters by attacking Trump.
“Alaska voted for Donald Trump by double digits twice because his policies were the best for Alaska. He unleashed the energy industries to create jobs and Alaska helped America achieve energy independence. But Joe Biden has squandered all of that and Lisa Murkowski has enabled him. Lisa Murkowski cares more about pleasing D.C. insiders than she cares about her own constituents,” he said.
Murkowski, who voted to impeach Trump in 2021, has remained on the war path against Trump during her reelection campaign against Trump-endorsed Kelly Tshibaka. Polling shows Murkowski and Tshibaka are on equal footing about 50 days from the general election.
“I want him to resign. I want him out,” she stated about Trump in 2021. “He has caused enough damage.”
Similar rhetoric was deployed by Murkowski in September when she claimed January 6 was an “insurrection.” Speaking about how the January 6 protesters should receive just consequences, Murkowski failed to raise concerns that rioters have been held in 23-hour-a-day isolation before their trials begin.

I didn't know that Trump was even a citizen of Alaska, much less running for the Senate there! Doesn't he know that it's lot colder there than it is in Florida?
Murkowski is tied to the hip of Biden, Schumer and Pelosi and their Democrat polices have failed miserably, not just for Alaska, but for the nation.

Biden is not running either, but this election is still a referendum on how badly he has treated Alaska in general and how Lisa Murkowski enabled that mistreatment.
Whether Trump is running or not, he is still the other side of that referendum, and plenty of Alaskans consider him to be their hero, meaning he still carries a lot of weight.
I certainly hope that Lisa gets the Liz treatment. TDS has proven to be a poor campaign strategy. If it wasn’t for AK’s asinine election process I would think MurCowSki would already be gone.

Murkowski is the Claire McCaskill with a larger ass. Hopefully she will get the same treatment.
She should have been put out to pasture 12 years ago, but the corrupt POSs in Alaska allowed all those fraudulent write-in ballots with nothing but scribbles on them.
